Let's see, what I've gotten for free in about a 1/4 of a year....

*Spyro 2
*Spyro 3
*Early Beta Access:
-SOCOM 4
-Killzone 3
*Access to several full game trials
*LBP Prehistoric Moves
*MAG "demo"

Most of that stuff is stuff I'm only going to play through once anyway; no problem that I won't get to play them in a year if I don't subscribe again (And trust me, I WILL!).

This only the tip of the iceberg, and I'm already satisfied with what I've gotten. Great investment.

If it wasn't for the DCUO beta I got with PS Plus, I would've never taken a chance on that game. Especially with a 15GB install. Now, it's my most played game of 2011. Love it! Future platinum. For that alone I don't regret my 3 month Plus sub'. Sam & Max was a funny surprise too. Early access to demos (KZ3, Y4, MK, Socom) and cloud storage for copy protected saves didn't hurt either.

For an ENTIRE MONTHS worth of paid service is exciting and I assume to you all a "great" update?

I'm not bashing the service, I'm even a PS+ subscriber! But come on, that is a terrible update for April. I see if it was just a week but no, this is for the entire month! With 3/12 month plans we're paying for, getting content like this is unacceptable.

Basically throwing away a month of what you paid for because you (or at least in this case, I) don't give a shit about any of those items.

I mean seriously, that delivery of April is just SAD.

I'm also a plus subscriber and it's one of the worst update. I don't know why people have to defend like this is content.

Worst part is if some people are really satisfied with this, I guess that the're no reason for Sony to offer more.

For me, I already own WipeoutHD and Sam&Max and I'm pretty sure they offer that because they know that a lot of person interested already have the game... For Qore, I was really interested but that quality of the magazine is not so good and it's marketing... So basically, I pay to receive ads... Nice move Sony !

Still, I enjoyed Stacking, FieldRunner, Sackboy Prehistoric Move, Cloud service... So it's not a total waste but it's not worthing the 50$...

You need to get 3.37 € worth of content every month (40.40 € a full year) to get even on the subscription fee. To me cloud savings alone is worth that. No matter how terrible updates we get it's not that hard to get that 3.37 €s worth out of it. I don't get your complaints. I didn't click disagree even though I DO disagree.

The have more updates throughout the weeks though in the US. the EU update is usually just one big update with mid-month treats.

Well, there are some good benefits and deliver from PS+. But if you don't complain who else is Sony supposed to know what they need to change and improve on? I don't want to cancel, I just want better content. If you don't "bitch and complain" then to anyone they'll think everything is a ok.

it offers nothing that is worthy of the subscription.

sony said to get more than your money's worth back is to buy everything on there well get this.

if that was the case you paid trebble the subscription got poxy discounts and old games. them trails shouldnt be trials. Thats why i am not a psn plus suscriber its obvious.

however if your a noob to psn maybe its worthit but not to people like us. took them going onto there 1 yr to actually start given out worth while beta acsess. wtf up with that.

Couldn't disagree more. I was a Qore subscriber prior and had been since the start and that was $25 a year. That's half the price of psn+ right there. Then, on top of that - I was and still am a sucker for themes. Probably spent $20 on those in a year prior. The automatic updates are fantastic, cloud saves are a brilliant idea. I love access to those beta's and I take advantage of the discounts all the time on titles that I probably wouldn't have bought full price.

And on top of that there's the free games like Stacking and Wipeout HD, not to mention all the free classics they throw our way.

I felt like PSN+ paid for itself in the first 3 months alone, and I've still got something like six months left. I already have Comet Crash (great game) but the Oddworld games are must plays in my book, Sonic 2 was my favorite and I always planned on getting Ricochet HD at some point (and now it's 75% OFF). PSN+ continues to be a worthwhile investment for me.

22 minis, 10 ps1 games and 18 PSN games such as stacking, wipwout hd critter crunch and the 5 sam and max games are more than worth it for me. Also all the minis and ps1 games and a few of the PSN games work on the psp so by the time i get my NGP i'll have more than enough games already

There free as long as you keep up the subscription. yes im sure the core may save you money. but game wise its not value.

as i clearly stated it wasnt untill near the end of the first year of the psn+ that you got your beta demo's and yes the back up save facility is a great feature. but this wasnt around for a long time.

as for PSone games i can buy them couple pound or less on disc and my playstation will play them and save them on virtual enbedded memory card. on xmb. The discounts arnt in my eyes enough. as i said b4 sayy again ok if your new.
but as said f you buy them games even with discounts you not saving you paying out over the odds. so essentually your not saving much even on core.

Hey quick question... Did you have to use a Network Card for the American plus account? I play on an American one, but my plus is only for the UK. I feel like a noob. Lol.

It's the quickest way, just buy a voucher online (such as Ebay), the code gets emailed in a few minutes and just use it on your American account for PS+.

Why do people keep talking about free multiplayer? PS Plus has nothing to do with that. Exactly half my subscription price paid for itself with just THREE games, and that's including features like auto downloads and cloud storage or betas. Not worth it? Ok sure whatever.

For me personally PS plus doesn't have anything that I really want. But it looks like a fairly decent service for the people who like it.

I have looked through what is on offer a few times and none of the things that I buy from PSN store are discounted and the things that are discounted or free tend to be the things that I wouldn't buy anyway.

I think it is one of those things that is just personal preference... some people will get lots of value from it and others will not get much. That is the great thing about having OPTIONS!

If PS plus starts to seem like it would benefit me then I will be sure to get it, until then I am glad to see that some people can get their money's worth from it as that is what is important!

I'm pretty sick of seeing the same free games every month on the PS1 side. Why not give out a good game for once? Just a thought. Hell, I've got most of the PS1 games I wanted but still. I'm sick of the PS+ selection more often then not.

I don't even know why I am a + subscriber since I pretty muc can't stand it. Can't wait until May when then give us Crash Bandicoot again. Man, the anticipation is mounting. I think my mind will officially be blown if in June they give us Spryo the Dragon for free again. I won't be able to contain myself -- Sure I've already downloaded it 4 or 5 other times they've given it, but I will be compelled to do it all over again.

Personally I love the Full Game Trials. I like being able to try out full retail games to see if they're worth checking out. I'm really looking forward to finally trying out Split/Second.
