There are plenty of games from the past that were not only excellent and carved a place in our hearts but that could also have a place in modern times. Now we don’t think that a simple remake of these would suffice, gaming has moved on and what worked then won’t work now. Games have evolved and as much as I loved story driven, text based adventure romps from Sierra I understand that that type of game simply won’t work on today’s console generation.
So for the sake of this piece I’ve included what I think might be needed to be changed or added in order for these games to work; to be successful both from a player’s perspective and from a sales perspective.
Remedy Entertainment is about to release its first cooperative multiplayer game, FBC: Firebreak, and Wccftech went hands-on with it.
Sometimes it's worth taking a risk. We don't yet know if Remedy will succeed, but FBC: Firebreal is definitely one of the most interesting co-op games currently in development.
NoobFeed editor Daman writes - Hordes of Hunger is a blast that will bring back fond memories of games of your childhood. However, there are some rough edges, and it lacks depth at the moment, so you can expect to breeze through it in a single sitting.
Stunts and Star Control 2 Hell yeah!!! Those were my best 286 games! Other that would be cool, X-quest and the Space Quest series.
Star Control, my word that was a good game. I think I played that game for hours and hours before moving on.
I already had my wish fulfilled (Monkey Island)
I would like to see Steel Empire or better yet General Chaos I use to spend hours on these when I was a kid.
Intellivisions "B-17 Bomber".
I loved that game, and with the power of consoles today, it
would be awesome.
