Fuck he's a funny bastard. Great work by PCF.

WhiteNoise5172d ago

That's awesome. I just finished the game tonight. I think it does a lot for the FPS genre. The scope of the game is massive. Sure the paths are linear but god damn the draw distances and the amount of stuff going on is bigger than any game I've played.

Gorgeous graphics too. Awesome job all round.

Perjoss5172d ago

Could not agree more, Bulletstorm for me at least adds so much to the FPS genre, most other games i played before just feel like 'point and click', but with the leash and the slow-mo that happens when enemies fly near it opens up so much gameplay.

I love pulling enemies towards me then getting round the side of them and booting them off at 90 degree angles into stuff. Being able to shoot enemies in the legs to force them down and then kicking off their head is also very cool.

I never feel pinned down either, just slide into bunches of guys and cause havok.

fun game for sure and beautiful visuals.

Killzone? Resistance? Seems up their alley genre wise. Maybe with Sony they can make a high end game like Blooper did with Silent Hill 2

RaidenBlack41d ago

Or something like SOCOM? Syphon Filter?

Cacabunga41d ago

Give them Starhawk sequel.

1Victor41d ago

@caca: “ Give them Starhawk sequel.”
GalaxyHawk each map is a planet with different environments like Starhawk boosters was but bigger with 32v32 or higher.

Killzone for me! But I'd gladly take either of them!

Travesty41d ago (Edited 41d ago )

@Cacabunga

Forget Starhawk, bring back Warhawk that was the best. Starhawk’s build and battle was fun but it wasn’t as fun as Warhawk.. either way Sony has a huge gap to fill..
Helldivers2 is the only thing remotely close and as fun as Warhawk.

ThaBx40d ago

Get the f#$& out of her... Warhowk is an online only game and starhawk has upgraded features compared to the boring 💤 warhawk with no campaign... You are just racist and don't like playing as a black dude 😮‍💨

ThaBx40d ago

We need a Starhawk sequel!!! One of the best Sony Exclusive games out there but because gamers are racist and don't like the campaign where you have to play as a Black man this great game 🎮 gets no love 😔

Travesty40d ago

Tell me you’re an idiot without telling me you’re an idiot ..
Starhawk was fun. But longevity wise, Warhawk was a lot better. I played and beat Starhawk genius.. and I liked it even though it was a rushed through campaign.

Whatever it is... I welcome them to the task at hand.

RaidenBlack41d ago

They'd handling both Gears E-day and a Sony 1st-party IP? That's a tall order.
They were working with Take-2 for Action-Adventure Project Dagger but Take-2 pulled out in 2022.
Hope these work out. And whay aren't they collabing with Saber for a new Painkiller? Saber is more interested in Turok and Space Marine anyway.

Fishy Fingers41d ago

Probably not a bad idea to revisit what I imagine can only be a shooter, be it 1st/3rd person for Sonys modern line up. however:

"production of a prototype"

So nothing we'll see soon if ever.

tiron841d ago (Edited 41d ago )

I look forward to seeing what they cook up.

Profchaos41d ago

Maybe VR killzone or something

Yeah. Not the best dev by a long shot, but I've heard Bulletstorm improved a lot after the initial launch and all the complaints.

Abnor_Mal41d ago

I bought Bulletstorm VR but couldn’t get into it at the time, the controls were a bit off, but at the time I was finishing up Arizona Sunshine1/2. Most likely the reason the controls felt off, plan to go back to it soon.

jjb198141d ago

I really wanted to love Outriders. I was hooked on it at first but it was so janky the further I got into it. I had to force myself to finish the game. I liked it just enough to buy the expansion but I burned through that jankfest also. It sorta gave me Division 2 vibes a little bit and that's what helped me through it. I don't think I would trust any of their VR stuff anyway.
