The Game Effect: It could be argued that the winter sports genre of gaming (sans the forthcoming SSX Deadly Descents release) is stagnating much in the same way the Tony Hawk and Skate games have in the past several years. id throw haunting ground into the mix. it still looks fantastic.
but i still dont quite understand why we never got a dragon quest 8 remaster for ps4. even the damn 3ds got one.
Silent Hill 3 was straight up sorcery. It has better hair animation than most modern games, which is wild to me.

TBG looks at the use of popular songs in video games.
Grand Theft Auto 3, ran their entire advertising campaign, with Flock of Seagulls I Ran! Great song, for a great game.
The Dead Sara Heart Shaped Box cover sounds better than the Nirvana original IMO. Fit the tone of the game perfectly. Loved Second Son.
The article is for song made games btw guys. Silent Hill game songs, SimCity 4, Diablo 1 and 2, Tenchu, so many I missed don't know or dont remember.
Bioshock with Beyond the Sea and Gears of War with Mad World were great advertisments with music meshing. Also great games...
With the supposed dark nature of SSX Deadly Descents, I could definitely imagine some snow monsters making their way into the game... That would get us over half way towards the crazy ultimate winter sports game.
