GB: "Recently we saw the release of new game play videos of Uncharted 3 and we at GamingBolt wore our thinking caps imagining how much different does Uncharted 3 looks from Uncharted 2. So we decided to a few in game comparison. And the result as you can see is above."
GB: "The best of the best games from the last several years to earn the ever elusive 10."
Earthbound
I don't know if it's on the list and I'm not giving them 9 clicks to find out but it's one of the greatest games ever made with a story that stays with you months after the game ends so it's in my list
Sorry, this list needs a lot of work. remakes should not be a part of it, Missing original Halo is a mistake IMO. I also think Ghosts of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn warent consideration. Again it's all subject to opinion.
The Opening Levels that hooked gamers from the outset.
Pixelgate writes:
''As a franchise, Uncharted has provided moments that force you to soak in the scene. For years now, I've refereed to Uncharted 2 and 3 as the accumulation of what main stream video games have aimed to be. Those experiences that rival, arguably surpass, anything cinema can offer.''
I personally don't see the need for video game movies at all especially when we're talking about story/character driven games. I just don't like the idea of having an entirely different cast of actors play those roles. But then again I don't mind those movies too much. If the movie sucks (which it often does) I just ignore it.
If they just got the voice actors at least the main three, work their Hollywood make up magic on them, get Nolan to a strict bulk up diet and then follow a condensed Drakes Fortune script from the game which cuts unnecessary chapters out (which were done in the game story to add to the games length) and transition the gameplay sections in-between the cutscenes nicely together then sure I'd want it
But Hollywood aren't smart are they.
For Uncharted I would love to see a film adaption, no matter what others say :-).
We don't need it, thankfully we probably won't get it any time soon either.
As Nolan North said, by the time it releases, he'll be old enough to play Sully.
The similarities are there. I think naughty Dog are just not making any drastic changes. I think if see those videos you wont find any huge change. But if u look closley, you will see that Drake's hair looks awesome and the way he moves is much more realistic.
So again the game has 11 months to go and its already looking solid.
Does this game have GOTY 2011 written over it?
I could never have anticipated that I'd say this when referring to Uncharted 2, but it looks pale in comparison to Uncharted 3!
Uncharted 3 blows Uncharted 2 away. I am surprised since ND claimed to use all the SPE's. They might have found another way to get more performance output or they optimized the hell out of the SPE's.
Looks the same?
ND never seizes to impress me :)
