Somehow it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that CVG doesn't know the difference between a teaser and a trailer.

And yes, the terms are not interchangeable and yes, a web site as prominent as CVG should know the difference.

'teaser' is just a shortened form of 'teaser trailer' i.e. a short trailer.
So, just because it's a teaser trailer doesn't stop it being a trailer.

Good article. I went a tad more in depth in my blog that I posted earlier. I think I definitely know what the big reveal at the end of the game is going to be based on what they had in the open journal in the video. Can't wait to see more of it and then to play it next year :)

If Last Guardian comes out, it'll be tough fight. I'm gonna end up leaning towards LG though. Just look at those trailers and the detail but then again Drake and the background looks completely different of how U2 was and it looks even better than U2.

Very thorough dissection of the video. I appreciate this very much! Fascinating stuff. I can't wait for this game, the way they've rooted it in history, reality, true people, places, and events, and real quotes from real people... it's so awesome! I'm shocked this analysis came from CVG. Honestly, it's the first article I've seen from them that wasn't basically a summation of things already covered elsewhere in the gaming media. So is the surprise announcement that Sony planned for sunday about U3 or is it going to be something different? Hoping it's something different. Today's reveal+VGA's teaser seems like enough for an inital reveal to me. I want the Sunday announcement to be out of left field.

Anyway, the trailer looks awesome. I'm very excited. The location in this one has me, for the first time, VERY excited about an Uncharted game.

i am a 360 fan! (i really am). and i wanna say. where in the hell are our exclusives microsoft? except gears 3 which is my favourite game and Codename: Kingdoms which we don't know anything about it, what other titles do we have for 2011??? anyway that's a sad story... all i wanna say is: Congratulations to Sony and Naughty Dog for the Uncharted 3. i am sure it will be awesome. have a great show tomorrow PS3 guys, because for us will not be such a good day, except if microsoft show 2-3 AAA exclusives for the 360, which i doubt it...
