It's a battle for the motion-control crown: Microsoft's new Kinect device for the Xbox 360 promises to make you the controller, the PlayStation Move promises a whole new level of control, and Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus promises to... improve what was already pretty good on the Wii. Sounds like this is the most perfect setup for a Mexican standoff since Eli Wallach, Lee van Cleef, and that other dude got together in that graveyard.
A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.
That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.
Joy Ride Turbo launched 10 years ago today. The first title was Xbox Kinect exclusive, yet this sequel failed to support the device at all.
good odds I say
I own both a Wii with Motion Plus, and a PS3 with Move. Out of those
two Move comes out on top, it's amazingly precise. I was just playing Gladiator Duel on Sports Champions and it really makes you feel like you're in the ring. The only way the Wii beats Move is in software availability, but then again Move is relatively new on the Market. I can't comment on Kinect, as I don't own a 360. Got to admit though, it does look good.
Out of all three I have to give the nod to the Move so far. I just am not feeling Kinect. Probably going to sell it.
I dont like the wii really. If I did want a Wii like experience though, i would go with Move simply because its more accurate and its in HD. But like I said, im not interested in any of these right now.
Tech wise, Move is the obvious answer.
Game wise, the Wii for me.
