7 is still good but this game deserves way more. GOW: Chains of Olympus is the best game on the PSP and this is made by the same developer so of course it's going to be the new best game on the PSP. I can't wait to play it for myself. check out the new trailer http://blog.us.playstation....

Well Eurogamer has never been as harsh as Edge. They're usually stricter than reviewers like IGN and GS but nicer than Edge.

actually Eurogamer seems to be bipolar, sometimes they are extremely harsh on a game and others they give it ridiculously high scores. Trusting their reviews is random, you don't know if to add 2 points, minus 2 points or take it as it is. And this is from someone who used to trust their reviews quite a bit a while back.

Bayonetta was overrated imo, DMC4 was ok, nothing special.

GOW3 was polished beyond words.

And i enjoyed it all.

Epic battles and size and scale of the world.

Graphics are untouched in that genre.

God of War 3 was lame. Only two boss battles were great - everything else was forgettable. The puzzles were a chore, so was hoping to harpies, and the game was easy. All you have to do is spam L1 + Square. Story was awful too.

Meh, the first GoW for the PSP was highly overrated. Lame combat, short, no replay value, etc. I'm glad a few sites are giving this one a truthful score.

I've read the review and here's what it says:
EG: "It's a great game but we've seen better with GOW3 on the PS3, so after that it feels weak."

DUH! Of course the PS3 game will be better, it's on a much powerful system! Since when it was ok to compare a home console title with a handheld?

Compared with other handheld titles, or the crap on the iphone, GOW is infinitely better than all of them and at least deserves a 9.

HAHAHA comparing the handheld game to the console version, the only thing it should be compared against is Chains of Olympus which is the only other GOW on the psp.

This is why Eurogamer is seen as biased and harsh reviewers. Its not that they rate the game hard but look for the tiniest thing to rate down in some games while others they ignore those same issues.

This is a hack and slack game and does what its set out to do and gets rating a 7/10 even with extremely good production values and gameplay. A game like Vanquish sets out to be an action/arcade TPS with a throw-away story and gets 9/10, super street fighter IV is the same fighting game as Street Fighter IV and the same fighting style since SF2 yet they give it perfect score 10/10. I'm not trying to say Vanquish and SSFIV are bad games, in fact they are great games but the reviews don't match up when they say its negative for one game and ignore it for another.

They're too inconsistent in the reviews and it looks like bias at times.
