We just can't resist the infection.
MMGN: With the upcoming release of Dead Rising 2, it’s time revisit why we love zombie games so much. Those brain dead monsters aren’t exactly cuddly, but why are they so appealing? Listed below are reasons why zombie games are so awesome.
While there’s likely already a list behind closed doors, one can still speculate and offer logical suggestions for titles new and old that should find their way into the PlayStation and Switch libraries.
Some of these seem to be exclusive for lack of enthusiasm of the publisher rather than because of deals. A lot of cool indies skip ps for some reason like katana zero, el paso, elsewhere and gunbrela
They really think PlayStation fans would want to play Redfall? Pfft.
Personally nothing on that list would be any game I’d want to play.
I’d absolutely love Hellblade 2, Palworld, and Quantum Break on ps5 as I’m sure tons of others would too. There’s nothing wrong with wanting games from another console and its sad that people try to act like they aren’t interested in them.
Sunset Overdrive makes very good sense. Palworld might.
Don't know about the others. Hellblade II does make sense given the original launched on PS4 first. Quantum Break was a massive letdown for me. I absolutely hated the whole TV show thing and I don't think anyone should have to relive that on modern hardware.
Resident Evil 5 launched 15 years ago today - and it continues to stand as a stepping stone from the good to the bad.
One of my favourites because of the co-op. Then Resi 6 arrived and the series nosedived further.
I enjoyed the game co-oping with a friend I know the game in solo the AI can be an idiot but RE5 is way better then RE6. I played RE6 with a friend if it wasn't cheap when I got I would have avoided RE6.
5 was excellent, still play Mercs with my brother.
I would love a fully remastered RE:5, with some added, reworked content. The DLC for 5 was also excellent.
6 was awful.
I never understood why the game was misunderstood. It was a fantastic game at launch and is still fun today to play. It’s as action packed as Resident Evil 4 was, yet that’s regarded a masterpiece 🤷♂️
it was "misunderstood" because they introduced co-op into the franchise at a time when people loved to have fake rage about co-op. like, you could play the game as a solo experience, but people chose to have their bandwagon rage because it was cool at the time lol
The Nerd Stash: "Everyone loves setting up killzones and laying waste to waves of enemies, so here are our picks for the best tower defense games ever."
That's why Dead Rising is my favourite game, chop chop chop till you drop! Any games without Zombies are just boring. :P
i have to say im not much for zombie games..i like the point about melee weapons, and the zombies being the masses haha
I LOVE zombie games they just have this certain appeal to them. My fav game is L4D :D
I'm over zombie games. Dead Rising is OK, but the save system killed it for me. Case Zero hasn't increased my interest. The old RE games are still the best zombie games to date, even if they don't have actual zombies. Close enough.
I'm a huge L4D fan so I can't gen enough of Zombie games, even PvZ :P
