I had no idea what to expect from Vanquish. On one side it looked like it could’ve been a standard cover shooter with a gimmick tossed in. On the other hand, it had this sensational presentation of a game that really means to stand on it’s own. The demo is finally out and I hopped on immediately to find out which of my two gut feelings were correct.
From the cosmos to crash-landing back on good old planet Earth, come read through the best sci-fi-nastically games on the PS3
Starhawk over Warhawk?...... Dude, NO ONE should listen to you.
Odd choices for "best" more like you settled as these being the "best" that available to you at the time, cause a lot of these blow or were average to poor performers that ended up in bargain bin.
Missing too many great sci-fi titles here. The Void, The Resistance Series, Killzone 2 and 3, Enslaved, man.. there were so many, this is redicu-list.
Glad to see Resonance of Fate. Enslaved was pretty good too. I’m sure there are others nobody has listed but I’m too tired to try and think of anything
SEGA has announced Fearless: Year of Shadow, a campaign that celebrates Sonic the Hedgehog and his brooding acquaintance, Shadow.
GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.
The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."
Ack! One of those screens have screen tearing! Wonder what version they used the screenshots from?
[Edit] Oh it's the Xbox 360 console
I would have to agree, this is like " Gears of War on ice." I love the boost in this game.
Halo + Gears = Vanquish.
This game is so preordered after that stellar demo.
