Kojima san is a Konami guy and a 3rd party. there really is nothing forcing him making MGS4 MOVE compatible! seeing as the game sold more than 5mil already, unlike HR, it doesn't really need another push for more sales! MOVE support won't do sh1t for MGS4 but I'm certainly confident that if only they give it a Trophy patch, THAT will be huge! I know I'm going back for more Snake moment if they do and I think many more even on this site alone will be back for Snake! it's not that I'm bored with MGS4 already but after finishing the game 3 times, I think it's time to move on because there are tons of other great games to be played but if the trophy patch is indeed coming, I'm going to put aside other current games and work on MGS4 all over again! YES, it is THAT GOOD! Kojima san you S.O.B.(out of anticipation), you almost give me a heart attack there!!

I disagree with the first part, some of the mgs4 trophies would be merciless to get and not full of gold trophies like terminator salvation. Unless your talking about trophy whore gamers that earn theirs legitimately without padding their score with garbage/kid games.

In orther words they don't have any hanna montana, planet 51, aliens vs monsters, shrek trophies or the uber pathetic hacked socom confrontation trophies.

That all are the exact same time or within a second of each other despite the second tier trophy one needing 50-200 more kills than the previous ones.

The second part i agree entirely, patch the trophies already dammit.

how hard would it really be to add trophy support? there are games like the first uncharted which came out after mgs4, then added trophies later, all while making the sequel in the same time span. sounds like laziness to me. i'm very disappointed with kojima.

I say take some time off the schedule and make it happen soon before its too late kojima. You are a genius in your own right and I respect you, but please dont make your loyal customers question your decisions.

On another note, wouldnt a game required two versions. You know the dualshock 3 version and the move version.
Because what strikes me about this, is mgs4 supposely took all 50gbs of the bluray disk in the first place, if this is the case than how would kajima intergrate both versions of the game on one compatible 50gb bluray disk?

From what I heard there are 100gb Bluray disks out in the wild, but to my knowledge arent compatible with the ps3. So..idk

i managed to beat the best game ever in the Boss Extreme dificulty, and i got stealth camo, bandana and big boss facecamo. and I think that those are more rewarding than trophies...

@marcus If you beat it on boss extreme without using lethal weapons, massive kudos to you, i gave up at the motorcycle section trying to finish on the one just above the last difficulty, i think it was on big boss mode.

But the bandana and stealth suit aren't that hard to get, bandana is for beating the without killing anyone and the stealth suit is beating the game with no alerts raised, i believe.

It's funny for a game that has as many, if not more guns/methods of killing your enemies than most shooters. That the way the game rewards you the most, is being as non violent in the game as possible, but that might be more the stealth elements.

For a character as trained in killing as solid snake is, it seems almost wierd on mgs4 to have him going around killing everyone to me.

Script "stealth kill" has been innitiated 10 times. Inniniate script "trophy: sneaky snake"

It'll take maybe 5-6 days to make it and have it working smoothly. Dont even do it yourself, you have a studio dont you? Have 2-3 of them work on it

Spend 1 day thinking about trophies (Or have your team members spend 1 hour and come up with a list for you) and choose good ones, and have your programmers do it.

It's not like you will be compiling the code, Kojima.

I think deciding which specific actions are worthwhile for trophies and having an appropriate titles/phrases for each trophy is harder than actually writing the code down for it.

Hell i would drop my current games and get started on getting a platinum on mgs4, if kojima patched it.

Mgs4 is the only ps3 game imo from before trophies became standard, that is still having people demanding trophies for.

I would also love for resistance 1 or rachet and clank t.o.d. to get a trophy patch but i would trade both or any other pre trophy game for trophy support on mgs4.

But cqc with the move controller/s does sound interesting not sure if it's possible though, i am kinda surprised rising doesn't have move support.

MGS4 isn't the only game I wish had trophy support. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PS3), Folklore, etc... should get trophy support as well.

I beat MGS4 four times. The game is awesome but with so many other games to play, I won't be replaying it any time soon. Therefore, if the trophies require you to play the game many times again, I won't be that interested but they would be great for people who haven't played it yet. Then again, what PS3 owners haven't played MGS4? Those without a brain probably.

Why would Kojima have to make the trophies? A low level employee can make the trophies in a day. Considerng how much Konami pays Kojima it would be a huge waste of money to have him spend time making trophies.

Please god no trophies... Doing the 3rd Act on Big Boss Difficulty on the bike took alot out of me. I only achieved it by a mere fluke. I don't want to have to do it again because I know if trophies are released, some strange power will pull me back towards it... gaaah~
