Did she really get raped by Kazuya, or was it mutual between the two? The anime points that it was mutual, while by the game it is really unclear.

If they do bring Jun back, pretty much takes care of Kazuya being an asshole. Kazuya = whipped.

The first time I played Tekken 3 & Jin makes his first appearance, I was surprised that he's the son of Jun & Kazuya.

I never watched the anime just yet, but now that you said that their (Jun & Kazuya's) feelings are mutual, so...

Although, Kazuya's design & personality (?) had me in question of what's Jun see in him in the first place, lol.

Man, I just gave up on Tekken after the fifth game. When so many franchises like Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 are trying new things, it just pains me to see Tekken still stuck in the same place.

OT, is the seventh game currently in production? Thought Namco were busy with Tekken X Street Fighter.

Tekken 7 is going to be a complete overhaul for the series according to the series developer. I just hope they get everything right, they should look at T2, T3 & TAG for inspiration.

Tekken 4 wasn't that bad but Tekken 5 just completely ruined it for me. Why don't they bring back the "secret character unlocking" system? even though Tiger in Tekken 3 played like Eddy it was well worth unlocking him.

It's what added more replay value to the game.

I love unlocking characters in Tekken! Been doing that since Tekken 1 on the PS1, its tradition! :) Makes the characters "extra special" (especially in Tekken 3)

Yup, I want Jun back. Heck if they can have Eddy and Christie in one game, they can have Jun and Asuka as well! Bring back Kunimitsu as too! (I'd love to see a showdown between her and Yoshimitsu)
Also...can Namco explain who or what is Unknown from Tekken Tag??

And bring back Tag Mode. And make it a PS3 exclusive. (Yup I agree, I believe the quality of the series dropped when it went multiplatform) :p

unlock should dissapear forever from every fighting games , it's a waste of time for people who wanna start with local multiplayer from day one , and dont play with the "heroes" .

The replay factor remain the ame without unlock , with story endings for each characters , and is even bigger now with trophies/achievements .

PLus this gen devs handle savegames in a rather stupid way , so you are stuck with unlokcing characters on each machine your playing on .

Again death to unlocking chars .

Why don't they bring back both Jun and Konimitsu? for the past couple of days I've been playing Tekken 2 and it feels miles better than Tekken 6.

I now play tekken 2 more than my copy of Tekken 6.

I'm not being a fanboy but ever since namco brought the tekken series to the 360, tekken6 straight up suck.

I'm not blaming the 360 I'm blaming these money hungry developers.

don't get it twisted I know we all need money to survive, but when the money starts to replace the passion of things, you notice the quality drop.

I will feel sorry for the 360 fans who bought tekken6 and enjoyed it, tekken6 was the trash of all the tekken series.

they better fix the game because tekken 6 was just tekken 5. the graphics I could almost swear were better in tekken 5 actually. why on earth is soul cal 4 so gorgeous yet it was released 2 years prior and made by the same team?

it just felt wierd that the new characters animations were smoother and faster, (closer to DOA's fluidity, even the fat guy bob) yet jin and paul and all the old characters play exactly like they did in tekken 3? stiff attacks, bad animations and well just not very good.

very dissapointed in tekken 6.....and the story mode....wtf was that garbage forcing me to play tekken force mode. nuh uh, I dropped that game fast.

you're only half right . Plenty of the old characters finally had new gameplay mehanics , or rather changed gameplay an balance , such as fury , wang , heihachi , yoshimitsu etc ...

Even the most unchanged ones were a least finally balanced , like devil jin .

The only gameplay issue comes from the stupid emphasis on juggles since t4 wich must dissapear , or at least be in a new and different gameplay .

About the graphics and the rest i agree however . There are very little excuse for t5 dr to be in 1080p 60fps on ps3 , while t6 is uglier with only better lighting and some silly background animations

lol i dont play with the characters u mention but yeah, ofcourse they added new moves, i'd hope so its a sequel. but still it was barley noticable. they were still stiff, still felt unresponsive and u just dont have 2 different animation types in a game, makes no sense.

almost as bad as KOF vs capcom where characters had different graphics than the others

For starters some had more than just new moves , some had their gameplay revamped . And the list is even bigger than what i mentioend anyway .

And i dont see how the animations had any particular issue or stiffness , nor rushed . T6 has been in the arcades for a while and twice already . people made a hobby out of studied every frames for gameplay or fun , if there were issues it would have been vastly documented .

The consoles version sucks and was rushed because of crappy graphics , crappy consoles modes , and subpar online . The rest being 2 years old at least wasnt rushed at all .

I understand the dislike for the game , you're making stuff up by vastly exagerating imo .

lol. um baka ur defending a rushed game.......yeaaaaaah. the game was a fail compared to tekken 3. I just dont like it because it was rushed, the air juggling is dumb, the characters are unlikable with very few exceptions, modes were tacked on, balance, and now tekken 7 is on the way....i think namco knows they didnt do their best.

they shoulda called it tekken 5.9 because you don't name it a sequel with a number unless its a vast difference, like the SC series and most other games

Dude the game was already in the arcade for many years , how is it rushed ? The console version was for sure .

The jugling being dumb was already agreed upon . And you're only repeating it and the same thing already agreed upon with consoles modes , extras etc ...

You dislike the characters ? this has to do with only you and your personal feelings about tekken . Especially when pretty much everyone was there or back , because somehow people wanted them and liked them .

Balance ? this was easily one of the most balanced , if not the most balanced tekken out there . Hell it's easily one of the most balanced fighting games out there with 40+ chars .
Wanna argue that it isnt ? Then show me those overpowered top tiers chars . The arcade scene is alive and kicking , and pretty ok overall with the gap between the few top tiers (every game ahas those anyway) and the lower ones not being big at all .

IS it boring ? yeah it kinda is now . Was the console version rushed and subpar ? hell yeah .
But again let's not make stuff up because you dislike it .

That ogre actually captured her and uses this to manipulate Jin into some insane being and become powerful and what not i doubt it but i think shes alive somewhere cuz jin is starting to stray down the wrong path and maybe she can save him

full install is just 4,6gb.the videos for the endings are short,incomplete.please Namco,dont fuck Tekken up :( ,Tekken 7 is the chance to fix up mistakes of Tekken 6

even with full install , the loading were too long .. the story mode a mess , the online buggy AND IT WASN'T PRETTY .

the whole technical section of namco need to work ..to optimize it for both consoles ..

Street fighter did it with super street 4 ..
lOADING KEPT AT MINIMUM , optionnal install that works , custom soundtracks , solid online

the customisation system was nice but it took WAY too long to get anything decent .... WHY ? WHYYY ? this wasn't this BORING in soul 4 ..and even that part wasn't perfect back then

So i try to kick ass without resorting to only juggle chains. I feel this has made the game more challenging for me. I love it. I love to imagine the pissed of looks on peoples faces in online ranked match as they get their asses kicked by skill and strategy instead of memorization. OK back on topic. Bring back.... Jun, Kunimitsu, Tiger (even if it only was a skin change), the Ogres, and TAG. GIVE ME TAG DAMN IT. >.<
