Especially the first 2, corruption was awesome too but I never finished it :(

I dont like the fact that they made the game much more simple than past iterations, one of the things I liked most about Metroid games was getting stuck and frustrated as silly as that sounds.

But overall the game was definitely in good hands and is one of the few Wii games worth purchasing. (pretty much all Nintendo franchises are worth buying tbh)

well i look forward to playing it.
its not like people haven't played games that were 4-6 hours long.

And this gen mostly all the games are under 15 hours except for some rpgs, and games with online modes.

Stop using stupid logic. You did that after playing through the game more than once. When a game's length is given, it's generally accepted that this means the average time it takes to play through the game without a guide, for the first time. If you're using your dumb logic, then Mario 3 is only 13 minutes long, and M:OM is probably only 5 hours long. Stop being ignorant.

god of war 3 was 7-8 hours for me that didn't make the game lame

Sounds reasonable for the type of game it is. Metroid games have always been able to be played in under 5 hours if you are good. The Prime series was at a completely different pacing than the rest of the series.

Other M has actually gotten pretty solid reviews. Just a few mixed ones, too (plus G4's troll-fest). GT's even sounds negative throughout, but that's just them focusing on the details. Overall, they really liked the game (their podcast mentioned this).
