J. Valdez of TLR shares his personal views on the Status of the Handheld war. "Sony and Nintendo have had a long war against each other in the handheld gaming department, with Nintendo clearly taking the lead. I don’t want to anger any Sony fan boys, but the numbers speak for themselves."

According to an article in The Huffington Post, people with Ipads have no need of Handhelds nor Consoles.
Yes, Because I dont care about real gaming, and i game with no buttons
/end sarcasm
I've been playing like crazy on iphone4. My time on 360 is getting less and less as can fly a plane in Xplane, race around tracks in NFS:Shift/Asphalt, Real racing, fight my way in SFIV, have halo like fps in N.O.V.A. The graphics due to REtina display are much better than psp or ds.
I spent 4~5 hours in hospital yesterday as my GF was in for food poisoning and kept myself busy with Angry birds while she was getting her IVs.
So yes if you have life you can enjoy more games on your handhelds not sure about these PADs though as they are bulky and awkward to use.
well i have PS3,360,iPhone 4, iPad and a PSP. i play them all apart from my PSP now cause i use an iPhone which is a phone with great games.
The DS been on top for the longest. There was never a battle with PSP. I like my PSP but when it comes to handhelds Nintendo dominates.
Meh... there's room for both. The PSP has sold 60M units. That qualifies as a HUGE success for a high end handheld. Compare this to other super premium hardware handhelds of the day like the Atari Lynx and the NeoGeo Pocket and the PSP is a Monster success. You don't compare sales figures for Porsche Boxsters to Honda Accords and expect them to be similar. The devices have to recoup development costs, serve their users needs, and hold their niche in the market. By these standards both the DS and PSP have been smash hits.
Calling the PSP a failure simply because the DS is a runaweay success would be like saying every car but the VW Beetle was a failure in the 1960s. Americans are too obsessed with declaring something a "winner" all the time. i.e. If you ain't first, you're last!
