GWC: As a child well on his way to incipient geekhood, I used to debate the relative merits of various pop culture characters, those merits mostly centered on which fictional superhero or videogame character would win in a fight. This isn’t limited to tiny nerds, however- I am told that proto-jocks would debate sports figures, etc. This seems to be a universal experience of growing up.
A look back at the fighting game Bushido Blade, and why the series deserves a reboot or remake on modern consoles.
Ohhh I would totally love that. I miss that game. I believe it had a sequel that was pretty good as well (checking now) yup. I remember playing both games, the second was definitely a bit more polished but both were lots of fun in their own way.
I would enjoy SE making a new game in the series. But I would also like to see the first two come out on PSN.
I never got to play it, so it would be great to have a chance on modern consoles.
"eadliest Warrior spawned two Xbox Live DLC games, Deadliest Warrior: The Game in which the player fights as different types of warriors throughout history (ninja, viking, knight, etc.), and Deadliest Warrior: Legends in which the player fights different military historical figures (Alexander the Great, Shaka Zulu, Joan of Arc, etc.)"
Games publisher Spike Games has assembled a collection of exclusive footage from all three seasons of the reality TV show Deadliest Warrior and the two PSN/XBLA video games from the series, Deadliest Warrior: Legends and Deadliest Warrior: The Game in a single disc retail boxed edition entitled Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat.
The collection is set to arrive at retailers in December 2011, just in time for the holidays, and in addition to the pair of previously downloadable games and TV footage, includes all of the additional DLC content or game enhancements.
