News of an unannounced MMO being in the works at Blizzard hit the newsstands way back in 2007, but with barely anything heard about the game since, some were starting to lose hope that it would ever see the light of day.
However, according to job listings posted yesterday on Gamasutra, the game is still in the works, with the team looking for a new producer and two senior software engineers to work on the game.
PAX EAST has officially confirmed that Blizzard and 2K Games are amongst the bigger names attending the show. This would be two of the bigger names to return to live U.S. shows since the Covid Pandemic.

The gaming world is in mourning following the unexpected passing of longtime Blizzard art director Bill Petras at the age of 54. Bill Petras began his Blizzard journey in 1997, earning his first credits on the groundbreaking real-time strategy game StarCraft.
Leading domestic game companies have entered into an unprecedented competition to win orders for Starcraft, Blizzard's representative IP (intellectual property).
Weird MS is letting go of a good IP. I don’t mind it but hopefully the best dev wins and I’m not sure who that is outbid those.
I wonder if we'll see Starcraft Ghost come out of this. And if we do, I wonder if it'll be a free-to-play gacha game.
Hopefully it will be unveiled at Blizzcon this year
They already said it was going to be a casual, most likely free-to-play game. Probably some facebook crap.
Let em take take their time cause I just started playing WoW so let me finish everything then they can reveal the next game. Sound good?
I'm not interrested in blizzard anymore.
Wake me up in 2013 for diablo 3
don't want to sound generic, but please let it be world of starcraft!!!
