for those who dont know, pretend you're playing a zelda game. The goddesses arent realy gods and are working with ganondorf and saving zelda is only a trap set to lure you in to your own demise... oh yeah, zelda herself is in on it too.

Also, BioShock had an excellent story. I'd have to say it was my favorite FPS to date. A lot of creativity made that game far from the norm.

List fails due to simple reasons:

No Xenogears, the game is about plot twisting alone.

No System Shock, instead have Bioshock, which is bad.

Its useless to try beat sense into kids who go gagagagaga bioshock gagaga. I'll just tell you that Director of System Shock 1, SS2 AND Bioshock, Ken Levine, says himself that Bioshock is a failure compared to SS2.

Having played SS1, SS2 and Bioshock, they are all good games in their own right.

I don't know if anyone has told you this, but posting something that's going to happen does not make your post right, nor does it insult the intelligence of people who disagree with it.

So? Who gives a crap what other people think about games? Contrary to what you believe, it does not matter what peoples opinions are. And not everybody has played every game ever released since 1999, so the twist in Bioshock was a mindf*ck for some. I'm starting to think that you're the kid, because you are certainly acting like one. Grow up, and stop being so immature. And just because everyone wasn't born in the same year as you, that does not make them any less of a gamer. I know it may be hard to understand this concept for childish minded people like you, but people have different opinions than you, so just deal with it.

Apparentlty the author isn't very observant, Heavy Rain gave us lots of hints as to who the killer was. It's been a few months so I'm sure I forgot some but just off the top of my head.

He keeps visiting the victims families saying he is working for the victims families, yet none of them know about him.

He keeps collecting evidence and never shares it with the police.

When he's questioned by the police about Manfred's murder Lieutenant Blake implies that he's been in some sort of trouble with the police before, but he'll take care of it, again.

Going over some of the collected evidence with Lauren he is dismissive of her ideas at finding the killer.

Again when looking at the evidence with Lauren he says the message was typed on an old typewriter. He has an old typewriter on his desk, which I thought was odd when I first saw it. I know it's not the same typewriter but we didn't know that at the time.

So by that point he was my #1 suspect. But what clinched it was the fight with Jayden. If you look at the silhouette of Jayden's assailant it is clearly Scott. He has the same mannerisms, it's a dead give away.

There was some misdirection as well and we also had no idea why Scott would be the killer but still there was no other logical choice. Ethan was the only other viable suspect but that just made no sense at all. From my understanding of the timeline the killings began before his marriage ended. It would have made no sense given his state of mind at the time and the life he was leading before everything fell apart.

It's always easy for people to say why a person was their suspect after the fact. I would love to see people post who they think it was after each chapter in the game without having read about the game prior to playing it. I bet it wouldn't line up at all with their post-game analysis.

I personally didn't know it was him until right after the fight with Jayden.

Oh, and you're completely wrong about the silhouette matching his or the mannerisms fitting his. I played it a few times and each time it looked like someone skinnier and didn't have the same shoulder moving mannerisms that he normally had.

My biggest complaint about the game is that the scene in Typewriter Shop shouldn't have been done the way it was. Later on the reveal is just extremely jarring the way it rewrites what you perform in the shop.

Of course I can't prove I figured it out, you weren't here. But we're just some random people on the internet, what does it matter to either of us.

Yes the silhouette was skinnier, and that bugged me more than the typewriter shop scene. But he has this habit of rubbing the back of his neck and the killer did the same thing in the same way if I recall.

The typewriter shop could have been handled differently, but such misdirection is not unusual in these kinds of stories, the difference here is that we were playing the character and so some people had an expectation that we would know everything that happened. I was suspicious because it kept cutting away to Lauren who was looking at a music box, and this seemed to have no relevance to the story except for the fingerprints, but there were so many other items that didn't get this level of attention. It was just taking our attention away from Scott. But I only thought of this after they got back to his office and he kept brushing off her ideas to figure out the killers identity.

hmm braid really had an interesting twist..took me some time and a google search to fully get the story..but pretty interesting though.
