Not just visually, but gameplay wise and technically as well. The chase had tons of camera effects and slow-motion executions. I wonder if the game will have some QTEs. The movement of Cole is much more dynamic, and traveling looks faster and more fluid.

Wonder if your save file could start you of in inFamous 2 with the good or evil Cole you ended with. Oh and listen up Sucker Punch, shard hunting better lead to a Silver Trophy at a minimum. Bronze was too light for the hour I spent hunting.

Everybody need to keep in mind this game is in PRE-ALPHA stage. I think nobody paid attention to SP compliment toward The Cell:

And that check-in obviously happend AFTER the trailer was showed off at E3, so I suspect the most up-to date build is looking even better. Kudos to SP that is delivering BIG TIME with inFAMOUS 2.

Hopefully Sucker Punch will raise the bar in open world game design! This could be the best sandbox game!

PS3 is a technical & graphical fortress!

Expect lots of 3rd party developers to have the "Holy Shit, Me too!" attittude on the PS3.

i cant wait till the next 256 player multiplayer game to be announced by sony. and i hope it would be a demon souls style multiplayer experience with 256 people kicking ass with swords and bows and arrows on one field.

Well I mean...it kind of is when compared to other IPs. You could say the same for Gears of War, Resistance, Uncharted and Little Big Planet. They all have sequels, but they aren't that old when compared to your Halos, God of Wars, Killzones, Gran Turismos, Forzas, so on and so forth. And out of all of those "new IPs"...it's one of the newer ones... I get what you're saying, but I kinda side with Iyvon on this one.

It doesn't have a sequel, yet. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing a sequel until 2011. So, since the original is just 1 year old, I'd say it's still a new IP.

in some its short and the same stlyle as the first and some it is lonnger and has a quiff..

Wow, did you just say Rage? Listen dude, you can say all that you wanna say, but to me Rage and its cell shading doesn't do much for me. Im not saying its ugly, but only when Rage gets compared to games like Uncharted, thats when you can start opening your mouth about that game. This game has only been in development for a year, unlike Rage, is already past the 4 year mark. Give Sucker Punch or Naughty Dog 4 years in development and one can only imagine not only how gorgeous their games could be, let alone how much bigger and badder they could be. their

But you see, unlike Id software and the like , the only competition that Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Santa Monica Studios, Evolution, Polyphony Digital, Liverpool, ect ect ect..... have are against each other. And unlike all the other devs in this world, instead of trying to destroy each other, they help each other with new ideas and AAA in house support. The funny thing about that is that Sony's first party studios offer their help to everybody. I have never even heard a Sony first party dev say anything negative about another studio. It just so happens the only ones that run their mouth are PR (Sony PR included) , third party xbox 360 fanboy devs and pc devs.

The game looks awesome indeed! (Running) animations, although vastly improved, are still a bit iffy.

Otherwise, the game looks great. The pacing is fantastic!

They've only revealed the ALPHA stage of the beta, we simply cannot imagine what happens in the final version.

On a side note, Killzone 3's Alpha was Killzone 2's FINAL not to mention the levels are rendered 10x bigger on top of the MLAA with the new weather and ocean effects. That's an indication of HOW big a jump the final version would be.

inFAMOUS 2 should realistically be 2011's Uncharted 2, but it seems Uncharted 3 is already pegged in for 2011 and a few other big name games exclusives hitting later next year from sony which will all be eye melting in graphics. KZ3, Motorstorm: Apocalypse, The Last Gaurdian, inFAMOUS 2, Twisted Metal.. and thats all the games that are announced for next years AAA big budget titles. and they all seem to be coming in the first half of 2011. The Fall should be just as big!!! damn 2010 hasn't even closed and we already have what looks to be a better 2011.
