Sonic in 'Super Smash Bros. Brawl' if SEGA Agrees

In a Spanish interview with Smash Brothers Brawl director Masahiro Sakurai, he revealed that Sonic the Hedgehog is already in the game, but they are waiting for SEGA's final approval. Since the game is almost done, Sakurai has given SEGA until July 26th to approve.

There's a few videos where you can see him in action. It appears he'll have a number of CQC-like attacks and combos (like is standard punch, punch, spin kick from the series). It also appears as though he'll be able to roll into a prone position (although it's not clear how this will be helpful yet) and his down special attack involved blasting an RPG into the ground a few virtual feet in front of him.

Copia where does it say it was fake, just intrested. I mean whats to gain by adding sonic beside publicity. Anyways could you post the site stating its a fake scan?

Well you can see that Sonic Stadium took down the article, and if you read the comments here: http://gonintendo.com/?p=21... a lot of them bring up reasons why it's most likely fake.

We probably wont know for sure until the game comes out or there's a post in the Smash DOJO about it.

This is a fake. There's a radial gradient in the middle of the page, something that wouldn't come up during a scan. The numerous typos that are throughout the snippet are also a good indication of it being a fake. Also, the tag line about the ESRB. There's also the tag line about Reggie being worried. "Precupado Reggie?"
Why would we be worried? On top of that it doesn't follow Spanish grammar.
It should read "¿Precupado Reggie?" if anything.
This is obviously a fake.

Though because this is a fake, it doesn't mean that Sonic won't be in Brawl. It just means who ever came up with this is a lazy photoshop-er.
