GameSpot: Risk: Factions Impressions

GameSpot writes: "The classic Parker Brothers strategic board game Risk has evolved throughout the years, but the end goal was always the same: world domination. The game could take anywhere from one hour to multiple days, depending on how persistent you were and how much free time you had. However, with Risk: Factions, the game takes it a step further by not only updating the game to match the objective-based rules that Hasbro set in 2008, but also by throwing in factions so that you can wage war against zombies as the yeti army or a mob of communist cats".

Five PSN Games I Want on the Vita

"The scant library for the Playstation Vita is a sad truth. I bought my Vita within a month of when it launched, and played it quite a bit. Some stellar titles kickstarted that handheld’s birth and I enjoyed many of them. As the months went on, the releases simply stopped. Every once in a blue moon we got a new Vita release. Until I recently got Madden, my Vita had gone untouched (and uncharged) for months.

Luckily, the Playstation Network is host to many fantastic gems that would feel right at home on the Vita. Below, I list five games (in no particular order) I would love to see make the jump. This list includes variety of genres, and trust me, there were a lot more I had to scratch off."

as far as PSN game go i wanna see journey on the vita. full fledged game i would love to see Fallout Vita or Dark Souls Vita

CalvinKlein4259d ago

I agree with journey, I think that would be great on the VITA.

I wsa really hoping that the VITA would get tons of PSN games and then we could have more that we can play on ps3 and vita, like sound shapes.

I think getting more ps3 psn games onto the VITA is the main area that Sony could improve on for the VITA games. I shouldnt be that hard for developers to get most of these game on the vita and I think that alot of the psn games would be a perfect fit for the VITA.

there is alot of stuff that would be a perfect for vita like PS2 classics, i would love to play the PS2 shinobi on vita

Yeah, PSN games could be a HUGE coup for Vita.

Game's I'd LOVE to have on Vita would be

Magic Orbz and Shatter, IMO the two best brick-breakers ever
Castle Crashers
The Simpson's Arcade
X-Men Arcade
Before yesterday I would have said Zen Pinball and Marvel Pinball.....now I have both.....basically

A handfull of others too, but those would be my FAVS as of now.

Journey would be a fantastic game on the vita.

What, no Flower?

But, yeah, I agree. I wouldn't normally say that, but apparently three people have already 'disagreed.'

It strikes me as profoundly odd that even ONE gamer would be -against- the Vita getting more games, any games, let alone good, proven titles. The Vita is not doing well, people! It needs games!

All gamers should be in favor of games. Gamers who do not support games... are... Good God. Look at me: I don't even have the words to describe this kind of profound stupidity.

exactly what i thought flower on the vita would be whole anothe experience. i really hope they do it

Putting all the games you're gonna list in the Tags means people won't even bother clicking to read this.
@Disagrees
Fine,I was just trying to help.

Sobaer4259d ago

I see your point, but plenty of people have stopped by to read it. ;) (NOTE: I didn't disagree, just clarifying. :))

dragon824259d ago

I agree with every one of those.

Rainbow Moon, Journey and many others

Sobaer4259d ago

Rainbow Moon was one of the last games I crossed off my list to make it five. :(

GNT: Cracking the Case – Risk: Factions

GNT: Sometimes, you can have too much of a good thing.

I have been a rabid gamer my entire life. One thing that is constant about my gaming habits is that I will fall hard for a game, play it for about two to three weeks straight and then it will disappear into the ether, until I decide to pick it up again for another go around.

Risk: Factions is a game that managed to buck this trend.
