Though details of the game are relatively scarce as of yet, it is known that the game takes place about fifty years after the events of Front Mission 5 in the year 2171. The destruction of a space elevator in North America by an unknown organization kicks off the plot, and starts pre-war tensions brewing once again between the Oceania Community Union and the United States of the New Continent. If it's like any other game in the series, one can expect a fair amount of twists and turns in the storyline along with plenty of Wanzer combat.
