A long time ago one of my favorite games was Super Breakout. I could play for hours upon hours and never get tired of it. My family used to take turns trying to beat each other on a computer variation of the game up until just a few years ago. Lately though, I haven't been enjoying the offerings as much. I hated the XBLA version and would much rather play my old Game Boy version than anything else. I was excited to get "Broken" for review because I was seriously hoping this would bring the change about and I'd have my addiction back. Sadly, the game titled itself a little too well.
Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 3 Remake will be the fifth entry in the series to receive an iOS port for Apple devices.
Because the headset isn't capable of running it simply put it's not powerful enough.
Look at metro awakening on quest 3 that's pushing it to its extreme and it's quite far behind PC and PS for graphical capabilities.
For whatever reason and despite all evidence to the contrary, their are some companies bent on convincing themselves and others that people want to play premium games on Apple devices.
It's assumed apple is paying for the ports. Apple probably paid a lump sum for all the RE games so capcom is just finishing up the contract.
Or maybe Capcom sees this as port practice for the switch 2 or these ports are what the switch 2 versions will be?
