Nintendo Life: Hubert the Teddy Bear: Winter Games Review

WiiWare has seen a surprising number of mini-game collections come its way, probably due to the simple nature of the genre and the greater likelihood of standing out as part of a weekly download release than on a store shelf crowded with such titles. Hubert the Bear: Winter Games makes a decent addition to the genre as a party game experience that will likely be enjoyed by the under-10 crowd and their folks.

Brink is My worst game ever. I acctually waited months for that, make that years. It was total crap.

As much as I now hate this game, Haney is still the worst Bear.

Any GTA for me. God awful boring. All you do is drive around half the time. Hasn't Rockstar heard of either Fast Travel or let the other person drive so it'll cut to the destination like in L.A Noire (which is a brilliant game to me).

I have a lot of fun playing really bad games, believe it or not. You could spend a long time just laughing at how bad it is.

Yeah, the combat in Dragon Age: Origins was laugh worthy because of how terrible it is. 'Right away' or 'As you wish' everytime you press attack. Needless to say, I absolutely love Dragon Age II.

I like dragon age: origins, but I prefer the combat in 2 because it "feels" better. I think we're in the minority in preferring dragon age 2, though. I preferred the story in Dragon age origins, however.

NWR: Hubert the Teddy Bear: Winter Games Review

Hubert the Teddy Bear: Winter Games is not a worthwhile investment. The game feels very rushed and repetitive, and it would've been nice to see Teyon spice up the game a little. Sure, it is being aimed at five year-olds who no doubt will enjoy it, but it may get old for older players. . In short, there are better mini-game collections on the Wii than this.

IGN: WiiWare Reviews: Week of Feb 15, 2010

The Wii library continues to grow. With so many unique design opportunities afforded by its motion-capable controllers, the ridiculous sales success that's put a system in millions upon millions of homes across the world and the the fact that new, young studios can break into the action more easily now than ever before, it's easy to understand why that software total keeps on climbing.

Nintendo's digital download destination, the Wii Shop, is expanding particularly quickly -- thanks to it serving as a virtual sandbox for game creators to incorporate the Wii's capabilities into downloadable titles. Or maybe it's just an easy way to get simple Wii ideas into gamers' hands without going the much more expensive retail route.
