"Blaster Master defined NES gaming for me as a child. To this day, it is still one of my favorite video games ever made. So, when Sunsoft announced Blaster Master Overdrive last week, I was both thrilled and a bit terrified. For years, I have been saying that the franchise needs to return, but at the same time, I worry that it will get the same treatment as some of my other childhood favorites such as Bionic Commando or Spy Hunter. When the time finally came, I loaded the game with excitement, closed my eyes, and hoped for the best."
