Wonder no more, because the Smash Bros Dojo has updated and revealed just how the new Smash Bros for Wii will be controlled. That's right your'll be able to use basically every combination of controllers including the Wiimote on its side, The Wiimote and Nunchuck, GameCube and the Classic Controllers. The site explains the reason for all for that I mean, when it comes to controllers, there are pretty much four different types.I guess I have no choice but implement them all!. Sakurai also recommends the GameCube Controller as he likes the feel of it's "powerful rumble", but urges people to try out the other controls as they give you a fresh experience.
He finishes his update with a cryptic statement "How do you do smashes and dashes with just the Wii Remote?" Guess that awaits for another update!
All of the Super Smash Bros. games are incredible, but which one stands as the mightiest of them all and has the best modes?
To me smash brows Melee is my all time favorite. I can't tell you how many hours I played that game between friends and family. When I was a kid, my parents couldn't afford a gaming console so I had to go somewhere that had an arcade like setup with the only difference being instead of arcade cabinets, they had big screen crt TV's and gaming consoles setup. I would go with my friends on special occasions after school or with my family on the weekends.
I would meet and make new friends at that place as we were all gamers and we also brought our game boys and would trade pokemon. I don't think those places exist these days but back then, it was easy to meet like-minded people and have fun for hours.
Well, I’ll add my extremely subjective ranking too. I won’t include the 3DS version as I don’t owned it. I did play it for a few minutes though.
5. Brawl.
4. N64 Smash
3. Ultimate
2. Wiiu Smash
1. Melee
Sakurai's views on cutscenes (and how quickly they'll be shared online) haven't really changed that much in 16 years.
Fighting games and music have a long and storied history together. Here are five of the best fighting game stage themes throughout video game history.
Tekken Tag Tournament 1 Arcade OST - Nina Williams
Street Fighter 2 - Ken stage, Ryu Stage, Vega (Claw), and Guile
Street Fighter Alpha 3 - Karin theme
Tekken 3 Arcade OST - Hidden Characters Theme
Super Street Fighter 2 - Fei Long CPS1 version (found on Hyper SF2 A.E.)
Tekken 2 Arcade OST - Kazuya and Devil theme
Marvel vs Capcom 1 - Strider Theme, Ryu, and Roll
Should be some tunes from the first Mortal Kombat in any list tbh.
I really like the use of Mozart’s Dies Irae in Wolfgang Krausers stage in Fatal Fury 2.
using the wii mote to compete is too hard.

And the Gamecube controller. That's pretty much it. :P
8 player mayhem?
4 gcn controllers 4 Wii-mote controllers?
would be awsomezorsssss
( would be cool if it happend not saying it will)
i think most of the MELEE fans will stick with the GC controller like myself but will definitly give the WIIMOTE a shot..
though how do u play it when its on its side? i can do everything but BLOCK and GRAB.. unless you use B and A but those are kinda hard to reach if you are constantly moving around..
though i praise them for allowing GC controllers.. i refuse to buy a CLASSIC CONTROLLER..
