IGN: Tekken 6 Review

If you already own Tekken 6 for consoles, the PSP version is just more of the same. Then again, it is an excellent port and will give you plenty of time to practice while on the road, so it just might be worth that extra investment.

I wonder if it's as good as Dark Resurrection. Definitely still the best portable fighting game ever made.

meetajhu5651d ago

i played it on my PSP its awesome. The fps is at constant 60 and gfx are little improved and you do your moves non stop this time coz of the 60fps without breaking the flow. Very much better than dark resurrection! The game offers loads of content!

Thank you much, sir! Good to hear.

Bubbles and Happy Thanksgiving!

If it was a PS3 exclusive and not gimped for the HaloNoGamesBox 3-Sh!tty.

ambientFLIER5651d ago

The psp version was gimped by the xbox?

ChrisW5651d ago (Edited 5651d ago )

Nah, Mr. Exclusive is a gimped troll. He needs to say incoherent things to make himself feel special.

I can imagine him squirming in his computer chair thinking about what to come up with next, all-the-while he's picking gummybears from his braces.

People complained about the online having lag, well they released a patch today and I did 20+ matches, not one of them had lag.

It used to have a lag match once every 5 fights, but now it's gone. You can also pick the quality and have the option to quit before the match starts if the connection is poor.

8.5 is a little low if you're a tekken fan. If you are, I'd probably say it's 9.3, or 9.5. The scenario mode could of been better.

krisq5651d ago

Scenario mode is a$$ but online after the patch has been pretty much perfect for me.

Gobot5651d ago

can't wait to get this game.... for free :)

saimcheeda5650d ago

im getting it for free too!

jasoncps5649d ago

Gobot and saimcheeda and other idiotic PSP pirates like them are killing the platform.

Get a job and or do chores around the house if you are still young and EARN what you get instead of STEALING it.

Gobot5649d ago

if anything pirates are helping the psp in sells, not software wise, but hardware. pirates are the ones eating up the psp and making it successful, if anything you should be thanking them.
and last time i checked pirates didn't own psp's back in the day so why are you calling people pirates lol

jasoncps5648d ago (Edited 5648d ago )

That argument only works in favor of Sony themselves if anything. Yes, the hardware is selling, but the software is suffering.

Nobody wants to makes games for the PSP when the majority of it's users are stealing the result of their investment.

Stop pirating Gobot, the PSP platform NEEDS you to. The DS can get away with it because there is a huge casual gamer audience using it that never pirate games.
