With any wave of innovation come those who pine for the old. No matter how new or modern something is, there will always be a group of people who liked the way it was before. For every person who decides to take the plunge and start playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, there's someone else who prefers Counter Strike. The same holds true for RPG fans. Sure, some people might have dug Blue Dragon, Final Fantasy XII, or Lost Odyssey, but most people will stick to their Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII given a choice. And so, it is to this sect of fans that developer Matrix Software and publisher Ignition Entertainment dedicate Nostalgia.

The Designers Republic stuff for wipeout alone is amazing. Some of the best work for an IP to date and still stand up so long after the first release. Instead they opted for some lazy screenshots.
