Metal Gear Solid: Philanthropy Review (Resumeplay)

Resumeplay: "Despite having no budget aside what they had in their own pockets, trust me when I say that Hive Division have created a movie that will probably give whatever Sony can cook up a run for it's money. Makes you wonder if maybe fans should be trusted with game movies…except Uwe Boll of course…I wouldn't trust that man with my spare change let alone Metal Gear.

It's a fantastic example of pure desire & hard work can achieve, of course the acting & dialouge may not be brilliant but it for such a low budget Hive Division has created a truly amazing movie."

They have been working on tis for a very long time. So it's obvious they have been putting a lot of effort into it. I remember being pleasantly suprised by aa 15 minute short of philantrophy quite some time ago

The story, action, and over-all intense feel of the movie was excellent. also, the humorous parts were funny.

The fact that you got a full story instead of a few minutes of "look at what I can do" was a welcome surprise.

I can't believe these guys would do this for free. Of course they get a lot of publicity for it but I can't imagine how hard it must of been.

They kept true to a lot of Metal Gear Solid elements in this film. The whole supernatural approach, as well as the incorporation of gears, too. I am surprised it is a 'free' film. However.... that main female character could have been a lot more... ."appealing", if you catch my drift.

I wish more of the movies of this genre were like it.
