Ubisoft Montreal is currently "experimenting" with Xbox 360 and PS3's motion devices, studio president Yannis Mallat has said.
Speaking to CVG in London last night, the Montreal and Toronto boss said that the developer would consider incorporating Natal and PS3 motion devices into existing franchises.
A quick look at the PlayStation VR Move motion controller tracking improvement included in the PlayStation 4 System Software Update 4.50.
Yup. I noticed while playing sports bar VR. Normally I might get some movement from the moves and sometimes it makes me accidentally hit the ball with the pool stick.
After the update, it seemed to know where my hands were. Still won't fix the tracking in games like lethal. Because I'm turned around and the camera can't see me because my body is in the way forcing me to use my other hand or try and stand out of the way to shoot. That's more the developer's fault in not designing for 180 when they ported the game from PC VR when the game was 360 degrees in view. Also noticed that I can bring the move up to my face without it going crazy trying to figure out which light to track.
Much better though.Keep improving Sony. Makes VR just that much better and more fun.
This is great news. I have had terrible luck with the tracking of the move controllers.
It seems it was long time ago. A bunch of friends spending hours on end playing RPG games, sitting around the table with the box of cold pizza. Excited about the story, listening to the Game Master, they were completely engaged in the worlds only visible to them and their imaginations.
The GM is the programmer, and in MMOs and co-ops, you can play with others. If you want to ONLY use your imagination for the visuals, read a book.
Scrawl: "Looks like we know how that new Compile Heart countdown is going to end. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Agarest Senki 2, known as Record of Agarest War 2 in the US, is Compile Heart’s newest title."
1) Hope they put it on disc this time.
2) Hope this is a positive for Neptune coming over as well.
Is this a half decent SRPG, porn aside, cause if it is, i might just decide to go and buy it for the 360.
existing franchises eh? It'd be cool if they patched in some of their games that have been released for Motion controls. Not that Ubi has had any decent game since PoP in dec =/
And i dont want motion controls in an actiong game like PoP.
Which was short and crap compared to the last gen PoP. Now he was bad-ass -.-
UBisoft will find that the PS3 is an easier approach to make a mo-co game, since they can just port those stupid little wii games onto the system.
