Madden 10 coverboy, Troy Polamalu, was hurt tonight during the opening night of the 2010 NFL season. Polamalu has an MCL sprain in his left knee. Coach Mike Tomlin speculated Polamalu could be out three to six weeks.
PlayStation Beat: This week marks the 25th Anniversary of the Madden NFL franchise with the release of Madden NFL 25. This made me think about what made Madden NFL 10 playable for longer than two weeks. Madden IQ, did you make it better
What do a coffee cup and borrowed video games have to do with the real meaning of Christmas? Lots, apparently.
Unlike at Christmas time, leaving a coffee stain on the case of a borowwed game causes large amounts of abuse from my friends.
Careful where you put your coffee!
But that was a very nice story, it seems you have made Jake a very happy boy :)
When it comes to sports curses, aside from the Chicago Cubs, there’s no more active superstition than the Madden curse. Since 1999, almost every year something bad has happened to the cover athlete of Electronic Arts’ bestselling Madden NFL franchise. Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis is the latest victim of this curse.
Should put ps3 owners in the cover in madden i would love to see you all get hurt and be in pain like the maggots you are
hahaha yea i saw that. But polamalu was a beast was all over the field. Titans could only score when he got hurt. Insane one handed interception polamalu had it all. But then he got struck with the curse. Larry Fitzerald is next
UPDATE: Polamalu has an MCL sprain in his left knee. Coach Mike Tomlin speculated Polamalu could be out three to six weeks.
Guess he got off without TOO much trouble.
My prediction for Fitz isn't an injury so much as a down season.
This curse always strikes. The last Madden I got was 04 which had...... Mike Vick. So yea, it never fails. Even last year with Favre going to Jets and missing the playoffs.
It's just amazing how this KEEPS happening. If something actually does happen with Fitz, perhaps players are just going to stop allowing themselves to be used on that cover.
But being a Bears fan, I'd love to see an Adrian Peterson/Aaron Rodgers combo cover :)
