It's a great game. I wouldn't say it's better than Super Metroid (big, big shoes to fill) but it isn't far behind either.

Is anybody actually boycotting this game (we've had an article or 2 about that here on N4G)? Not me. Downloaded it the day it was made available and haven't looked back. Good investment of 15 bone if you ask me.

It's better than companies taking games that came out a year ago, and cloning THEM.

I'd much rather have a 2.5D homage to Super Metroid than Generic FPS 7: The Re-shootening.

It is long actually, if you really take your time.
The map is huge and there is plenty to explore.

Took me just over 8 hours to do a 100% item run of the game on my first playthrough. I'd say that's pretty good for a $15 game, since some $60 games are much shorter. I've also been putting more time into it than just that, though. It's a great game for speed running.

I was in the midst of playing the demo the first time and bought it. Unlocked a few achievements and got tired of it saying..you need to purchase the game in order to keep them.

So....i did.

Nothng wrong with taking a great game and giving it a new coat of paint. Some people have complained about the price, but as was already said, some $60 games don't last this long. And more to the point some $60 games aren't worth 10 hours of your time!

I hit the demo up, and I just have to say wow, I can't believe that its a arcade game that looks that great. Amazing and well earned its 10/10 from me.
