GameSpot writes: "These days, point-and-click adventure games have become about as common as a sad clown. But point-and-click adventure games about sad clowns? Well, those are among the rarest of them all--yet that's precisely what The Whispered World is all about. This adventure title from German developer Daedalic Entertainment stars a depressed clown named Sadwick who's been tormented by mysterious nightmares. Here at GamesCom in Cologne, we just had the chance to see this strangely charming game courtesy of Daedalic".
Daedalic Entertainment return to the world of Silence with a sequel to The Whispered World. The Digital Fix rejoins Noah and Spot to point, click and be moved.
So sad these marvels are overlooked by many. Daedalic really publishes the greatest adventure games these days.
Gamereactor spoke to Creator Marco Hüllen and Product Manager Ralf Kessler and they said The Whispered World sequel is set to be more narrative focused. "It's a couple of months between when it's really finished, but I'm very happy."
TTP: Point and click adventure games have been making a strong comeback in recent times thanks to a lot of high quality and interesting releases. Earlier this week we have talked about an old school inspired game called Factory 47 and today we can confirm that yet another point and click adventure game has been made available on the App Store.
