Sony Computer Entertainment has released 10 new screenshots of MotorStorm for the PS3. The game is an off-road racer currently being developed by Evolution Studios. MotorStorm delivers visceral off-road racing, plunging players into a frenzied environment awash with grit, mud and petrol, in a game that leaves the standard rules of racing in the dust. PS2.5, looks fun though!. I wonder if those vehicels are speeding their way through the mud at 80 mph leaving ruts I guess i need to watch a vid of this game...lol
I forgot to say why i think all the vehicels are traveling vary fast, all the blurring visuals. The physics are suppose to be real but the games has blurr effects like Need for Speed on mud LOL. Looks like it can be very fun and that's all that matters although i might get board of this game in a couple of months.
Yeah, it reminds me of the PS3's take on a game like mario cart or that hydro thunder game. It's fun for a while but there's not enough content to keep you coming back and playing for months. All I know is it sure beats the hell out of full auto 2. I might not get it at launch but maybe later on down the road.
Jaggies? And the textures look blah to say the least. And the overly blurry blur effects. I don't know. It does look like it may be fun. But it doesn't look like the CG video they showed previously to show of the ps3. Look the low res textures on the mountains and the ground. I thought the ps3 was true hi def? I'm confused. On the screen shot with the motorcycle....jaggies everywhere....Does the ps3 not do anti aliasing? I'm disappointed. And the only two confirmed launch titles so far are Full Auto 2 *cough* *cough* Full Auto 1.5 from the year old xbox 360 version...and Sonic..*Cough* looks a tad better from the video comparisson in the lighting department for the xbox 360. So we will see if this will be a launch title. If it is I hope they fix the jaggies and increase the texture details.
