I'm a bit of a darts fan and when this popped through the door I noticed it was developed by Rebellion, a good sign. You've also seen that I tend to be blunt about games I don't like, this isn't one of them. PDC 2009 is a pretty good game, it has a few things wrong with it but we'll come to those in a bit."
The fifth day of Christmas has arrived and, as those that have been following Electronic Theatre's The Twelve Games of Christmas feature will know, today is the turn of May 2009. Incidentally, the month in which Electronic Theatre's brand spanking new site went live! For those not in the know, everyday for the twelve days of Christmas we have been taking a look the very best that 2009 had to offer, one month at a time and suggesting what you should be looking out for in those January bargain bins.

The developers of PDC World Championship Darts attempt to make an accurate version of this biggest PDC tournament. So can a platform like the Nintendo DS successfully recreate such an experience?"
PlayDevil has published a review of the new "PDC World Championship Darts 2009" for the Nintendo Wii.
Here's a snip:
"Lets start the review by looking at what is the most important thing about the game…the controls. Undoubtedly where the 2008 version of the game failed was due to the very inconsistent controls which if I'm honest never gave the impression that the player was in total control of the action and more often than not the dart never achieved it's intended target. The developers must have realised this and in the 2009 version have worked hard to implement desired changes."
