Nostalgia is a game with a fairly straightforward premise -- evoke nostalgia in its players. Not just nostalgia for the Victorian-era time frame within which it takes place, but also for an era of video games past. An era where over-the-top presentation wasn't a requisite for RPGs, and where exploration and adventure were more important than whose sword was bigger or how much angst could be shown in a thirty-minute cut scene.

The Designers Republic stuff for wipeout alone is amazing. Some of the best work for an IP to date and still stand up so long after the first release. Instead they opted for some lazy screenshots.
