IGN: X-Men Origins: Wolverine PSP Review

In the end, you have a game that's incredibly straight-forward and only represents Wolverine in the most general of ways. If you're looking for something you can just bash your way through and say that you're Wolverine, IGN guesses this fits the bill, but that's far from a ringing endorsement.

I might still pick it up though, since I am a big Wolverine fan!

get yourself the console versions, IMO i think its awsome. If your creative and good at action games you can chain together some awsome looking combos. Try uppercutting someone on a lower level and grabbing someone on a higher level only to smash him into the uppercutted dude and plow into the ground. :)

I was just hoping to have a little Wolverine to play "on the go".

5.1/10 ?
I Loved the game, it's pretty good, and we dont have so much choices for Action Games on PSP .. =[

I am playing it right now and I enjoy it. There is bonus stuff to unlock, there is (something that is missing in many 'port' games) decent audio addition. I don't know the console versions, but the combos are decent and the different type of enemies are nicely distributed. The story is also nothing to do with the movie (which is imho the best part of the game).

I have not played any of the console versions and basically I don't care for them. All I wanted was Wolverine (after watching the movie 2x, yeah sucker I am) for PSP. The game is well balanced for the PSP and moves slick. Recently I have seen some graphically high level games, which would slow down on the PSP. Wolverine is a very nice mix. Besides the CGI and story that has nothing to do with the movie (yes, it is not some Movie runthrough in a game), it plays very nice. One of the few downs is the camera angle when running around a corner (and sometimes the o displaying but when you click it it is already gone, so you are standing around taking a beating).

The extras you can unlock make the game also worth while. I was playing for the last 3 days and got stuck in a cool level 'Cornered'. First I tried to play 'blind', then with senses, but failed (now I find out only barely). I restarted the game from scratch on easy and now I want to finish it and play it again and get all the bonus on normal too. The audio files and videos are cool, but the fact that even on the PSP you get different costums is awesome.

Basically I would say in perspective of the console it is on and the place you play it, I say: 7/10 or 8/10.

A definite must for Wolverine fans, for general action genre lovers on PSP I would say: If you like Tenchu or Killzone on PSP, you most likely will love the speed and actions in Wolverine.

I had a blast with a Bugs Bunny game on PS1 as a kid. It is probably trash now but at the time, it was awesome.

"50 Cent: Blood in the sand"

Ps3 scored 6/10 all round loads of review sites but was so much fun while not a technical masterpiece in any way has a worthwhile engaging story and script and of course an unbeatable soundtrack.
