Marvel VS Capcom 2 has gone down in the books as one of the best fighting games ever. Despite being released almost 10 years ago, the game is still heavily played at fighting game tournaments, a testament to it's greatness. Unfortunately, Capcom lost the license to Marvel shortly after it's release. But with the Marvel license free again(with the exception of Thor, Captain America, and the Incredible Hulk, owned by Sega), and the revival of the Street Fighter franchise, now would be the seemingly perfect time to revive the Marvel VS Capcom franchise.
This looks like a great pairing for fans and collectors.
An older Marvel vs. Capcom title just saw a massive surge in Steam players, and it has MvC’s largest-ever fan project to thank for it.
A development build of Capcom's fighting game, Marvel vs Capcom, has leaked, revealing scrapped characters and boss battles.
War machine was shamelessly lazy. Just a grey iron man. The character art cleary didn’t match the character model. They should have just swapped him out with another character they already had done.
But at the time i didn't care that much because of how cool Strider, Venom, Captain Comando, Jin and Megaman looked.
DO IT! Oh God, do it!
And credit Sega to get use of the characters.
But my God, DOOOO IT!
Come on Marvel agree to it. Marvel VS Capcom 3 would be killer!
Well it's a 50/50 chance.
As much as I was looking forward to Street Fighter IV, even more so I would be looking forward to MvC3. I played MvC2 to DEATH.
Cmon Marvel don't be a DOUCHE
This will never happen. Marvel is making a lot of money with the games based on their super hero characters to let capcom do another game that will probably eclipse theirs...
