Gears of war 3 would be cool if it hits the ps3 but MS would never let that happen, even if epic wants to ( after all who doesnt need $$ ). If it doesnt, no big deal PS3 got lot of exclusives.. I really love the gears series but unfortunately dont own a 360 :( ... I would onlt buy a 360 if MS solves the issue of RROD and free XBL ...

I average about 15 games a year multiplatform. So it is a big deal for some people especially those on a tight budget.

In case everyone had forgotten, Microsoft OWNS the Gears of War franchise, much like they OWN the Halo franchise. Epic has the rights to develop the titles, but Microsoft own the name, characters, locations, and pretty much the Gears universe.

This has about as much credibility as rumours of Killzone 2 going to 360 - Sony owns the Killzone brand, but Guerilla develops the games (they also do third-party games, like Epic does).

It's always going to be like this - get your site more traffic by rumouring a console exclusive game jumping platform. Sure, for externally published games (eg: Mass Effect, Final Fantasy XIII) it can be very likely because it's the publisher's decision. But when the publisher is the console manufacturer? Not going to happen.

Epic owns the IP for Gears of War including the gears universe.

Gears 3 can come come to the PS3. Gear 2 and 1 can not since they were both published my Microsoft. Same goes for Ninja Gaiden 2. There won't be a Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma for PS3. Ever.

Guerrilla is a first party developer. You should of used Insomniac as a example which is a 2nd party developer just like Bungie. (lets be honest, they will never publish anything outside of a 360.)

guerrilla games is part of a group consisting of 19 other developers owend by a gaming corporation called Sony Computer Entertainment, chances of kz2 going to 360 are lol equivalent to the chance of kazuo hirai going gay for bill gates, why cause the kaz may do what ever gates tells him. GeoW3 for ps3 chances are equivalent to ff13 for 360, but no worry, very rarely do you see a company go so low as Squarenix has gone.(oh an I thought geow ms contract ended with geow2 lol)

ut3 was released when ps3 had not even sold 2mil, L4D will remain 360 just like GeoW2 & 1, GeoW3 would sell better if it where on 2 consel but no need worry just read my previous comment, don't belive GeoW3 will come to ps3, nor do I need it to come to ps3 unless it got some graphics update and 10 players online does not sound attractive to me especially with severe lag problems.

Hmm funny thing about the rumour of Gears3 on PS3 sound familiar? Well to me its like MGS4 coming to Xbox 360. and Personally, if you look at the facts MGS4 has a better chance coming to the 360 than Gears does to PS3. Ex. Xbox had Metal Gear games on it before hand, ports yes, but they were still on the system. Also this is one of MS babies, just under Halo no way they would let it happen unless they are getting something out of it.

But then again GTA, and Final Fantasy went Multi... so your right who knows...
