The game has been leaked on ps5 already and it’s just as prophesied. Devs are begging ppl to wait until release day for a patch. I remember a time where games didn’t need a day one patch. Good times

The company did issue a warning, that these copies are without crucial day 1 patches and will run into issues.
Not saying the game's gonna be good, just stating a fact.

gold_drake5h ago

i miss the days when u bought a game and it was playable, had next to no bugs and didnt need a day one patch ha

gigoran83h ago

I miss the days when they didn't hold back a portion of the game to sell you later as DLC

Flenter3h ago

Aaahhh the good old days 😉

gold_drake31m ago

haha quite honestly i would, but i dont have a decent enough pc

jznrpg22h ago

Most games these days have issues at launch. But not having the day one patch it is obvious that there will be more issues.

Seth_hun6h ago

No. There will be a freeroam mode later, but the campaign is pretty much on rail

MrBaskerville4h ago

I wanted this to be good, because the initial trailers reminded me of 90s styled techno/cyberpunk thrillers like Johnny Mnemonic, Freejack, Strange Days and so on. Even a bit of Neuromancer in the way it's sci-fi but not at all Blade Runner. I love that stuff, grounded realistic sci-fi.

But then you get all the reports of a bad work enviroment, the nft spin-off platform and the broken guided previews. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen. But I hope it's atleast decent, even if it seems unlikely.

Before the game launches? Definitely a bad sign.

StoneTitan1d 6h ago

well, these are not developers though, could care less

Profchaos1d 6h ago

No but these are the guys that can afford to move roles when things are not looking good

RaidenBlack1d 4h ago

Supposed to get long term post launch support .... guess that's becoming a big question mark now

HectixRose1d 7h ago

When is the god damn review embargo gonna lift?

XiNatsuDragnel1d 4h ago

Hopefully it's akin to finding new projects rather than foreboding I'm seeing

Michiel19891d 3h ago

any person that respects himself would wait till after the game launches with doing that if it's actually a good game.

Ninver1d 2h ago

Guess in this case the captain has abandoned ship early.

robtion15h ago

Not sure about the captain but the saying about rats and sinking ships certainly comes to mind.

TheGamersDojo18h ago

These aren't even the people responsible for making the game. What a misleading headline.

Not much positive unfortunately and I had high hopes for this one when it got announced.

Also seems that two execs of build a rocket boy have quite just before the games launch.

They are ultra defensive claiming there's a smear campaign going on fuelled by bots and all sort of stuff.

It may be the weirdest release in some time

DreadedGirlBoss2d ago

I think there is a degree of unable to fulfill the full potential of the promise I would be able to accept in here, but so much of the behind-the-scenes situation has called even that into question.

I hope there is something good in this, but I have to agree on weirdest. I feel like so much of this is poised to just be absurd, and when elements like those promised here go wrong, they tend to go REALLY wrong, REALLY fast.

Elda2d ago

It looks interesting to me, if the game gets mostly 7s & up in reviews I will buy day one.

Ninver2d ago

7 is my threshold for a try. Anything below I won't bother with.

Michiel19891d 23h ago

just watch every IGN review and you'll be broke in no time

robtion2d ago

I'm happy to be proven wrong but something just seems off. The main character isn't very interesting and it just has a generic feel from what I've seen so far. That said, hopefully it is actually great. If so I will play it and be the first to admit I was wrong.

CrimsonWing692d ago

There wa just nothing I’ve seen that turned me on to it. I don’t think it looks horrible though. However, it’s a pass for me.

ravens522d ago

It looks decent to me. It's just the fact they talk about 10yrs of add-ons. I'm good. That means its a live service game, that they want you to build lol. Developer tools to add anything u want into the game and make different missions or w.e. I just want an entire game on disc, ez pz

DreadedGirlBoss1d 19h ago

That's the thing. Being it was part of Everywhere, which was a live service, and is using the creation tools of Everywhere, are the 10 years of add-ons part of this IP, or are they slowly expanding this IP into Everywhere? It seems like their answers to this are never straightforward either.
