So many games to play right now. I’ll get to this sometime this next couple of months

FACTUAL evidence3d ago

This is one of my most anticipated, and I’m hoping it lives up to expectations. Hoping it has a normal leveling system and not just a skill tree.

jznrpg2d ago

It is up there for me as well. The problem for me is I have a stack of games that are right there with it. I have it preordered to support the devs but for time to actually play it, it’s going to be a little while

JEECE3d ago

I can't imagine the devs of this one are pleased about the Oblivion news, especially if it actually drops tomorrow. Seems like an unnecessary decision to put Oblivion so close to this game.

UnbreakableAlex2d ago

What if I told you, you can play one after the other?

JEECE2d ago

@UnbreakableAlex

Of course you can. But it's very silly to pretend that everyone pays the same amount of attention to games that people on here do. Of course people who are already specifically interested in both games will still play both, if they really want to. But a lot of people will only play a game if it breaks into the public consciousness, and having a big game in the same or similar genre launching close to your game is one of the worst things that can happen to you if you are a dev. Look what happened to Titanfall 2. You sometimes even see publishers move the launch of their game to avoid launching near larger games that will draw a lot of attention away.

Today, Oblivion Remastered and Obscur on Thursday? I'm going to have a few good months of gaming. (I only play RPG's on weekends)

I am stuck between playing this or the days gone remaster this weekend.

I never played the original days gone and it was sitting in my library for years

You’re in for a treat with DG. Amazing game

jznrpg6h ago(Edited 6h ago)

Days Gone is a little slow in the beginning as you are fairly weak and your motorcycle is a clunker. Once you upgrade your skills, weapons and motorcycle a little bit, it is a lot of fun.

Also, once you get past the starter camp, the story opens up and is better.

Just wait until you come across your first horde—it is terrifying even in the later game. The biggest change I was hoping they would make to the game (which, in my opinion, severely detracted from the survival horror element of the game) is that gas canisters and gas stations contain unlimited gas. It would have ramped up the tension even further if this had been a limited resource. I would have even appreciated an option to toggle on/off, but there was not one. Otherwise, it's a fantastic game! Enjoy!!

Trying to decide if I play this or Lunar Remastered next. It’s hard for me to pass up Lunar but I might.

The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy for me. Picking it up from Best Buy next week.

The craziest thing about it is that it was made with a development team of 30. How many employees do the big studios have? The likes of Ubi, EA etc couldn't dream of ever producing a game as good as this. Veilguard was the last RPG I played and this game is in a completely different league to that, how many employees did Bioware have working on that? Sandfall have wizards on their payroll or something to create something so amazing with just 30 employees. My GOTY so far by far and I'm only 8 hours in.

Flewid6385h ago

I wouldn't go that far, but it is very very pretty
