Bethesda is so much better under the Xbox brand.

After Oblivion, I can definitely see them release a Morrowind along with both Bloodmoon and Tribunal remade from the ground up.

IMHO, core Bethesda has been downward since the 360 period. It's not so much that the games overall 'suck' they just aren't 'as good'. Lucky for them, people really like the IPs.

Yikes. Yea, I was hoping for crazy beautiful green nature everywhere. That's what I remember about Oblivion vs all the snowiness of Skyrim. Instead, it looks like I dropped my glasses in a horse turd, tried to wipe it off and now am stuck w a poo filter.

The original did so of course it would. But night time wasn't brownish grey. The brightness goes down with the sun but not all that color.

Hope this isn't an elaborate hoax. Been curious about Oblivion but it hasn't aged well so I never bothered buying it on the Microsoft storefront. My first ES was Skyrim so I don't have nostalgia for the older titles to force myself to play them.

Man, color filter removal mode is going to be on the top... I really don't like that color filter, they never work well and make games look so much monotone. And I did like Oblivions more colorful look. I think it went really well with setting. I really do hope filter is optional or just prerelease thing. But knowing developers and their infinite love for blur, chromatic aberration, blur, film grain,... I have my doubts. :-D Jokes aside, I know they get told what to do and some is needed for low FPS mode on consoles. But I did same treatment to Fallout 3 and NV, it made them look so much better. At least I liked presentation better without green tint in 3 for example.

I love oblivion and its what really made me a big Bethesda fan.

Awesome , I remember play it on the first time on 360 it was my first game on that system I was blown away with everything about it, I remember also when my character was sleeping a freaking vampire bit me and turn me into a vampire also an I didn't know how to turn back to normal or what to do hahaha

Visually it looks nice but I really do wish they stuck with the overall aesthetic of the original but increased the fidelity.

Problem isn't the visual but rather the core of what makes a Bethesda game is very outdated and stilted but many people will give them a free pass. Walking up to statuesque NPC's and selection text like an adventure novel is not the standard in 2025.
