Digital only. Sigh. Least they aren't shoving our faces in it by including a steelbook, this time they haven't even bothered

No physical disc, no steelbook, no soundtrack, no artbook, most of the extra goodies are digital.

$229.99

It comes with a 15inch statue and 3in figurine, art cards and it is cheaper than the RE4(250) and Starfield(299) collectors edition with the same amount of physical items. So i don't see anything out of the ordinary when it comes to price or content.

It should have been a sam, higgs or fragile statue though.

This was the first edition

https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/...

It had a physical disc, a steelbook, a 1:1 replica BB pod statue, a digital soundtrack, behind the scenes documentary, a trinket and some in game items

It was $199.99

This is around $229.99 and you are getting less

Digital-download for collector's editions still seem strange to me.

Two days early accesss is also stupid. The game will be done and the day-0 patch will most likely be out by that point. It's just artificially delaying the proper launch to entice people to buy the more expensive versions.

I was planning to avoid social media for a couple weeks anyway, but I bet there will be plenty of spoilers, before most people even got their hands on the game.

Stupid digital collector editions. I’ll pass this time

I want that CE but man money is tight.

I'll take the basic physical disc copy for $70, that is all.

I really hope this does well, but I'm not sure it will sell even half that the original dud with the novelty/mystery of a brand new Kojima IP gone, and the polarising gameplay on top.

Always enjoy arcs like these in stories and video games. Let's you know the hero ain't some crazy overpowered superhuman. Well... it's usually when the hero has some kind of demon takeover typically in anime lol.

ehm okeeey.
i guess i get it, but shouldn't be a difficulty setting be the solution and not a skip feature?

StoneTitan13d ago

That is the difficulty setting ^^

Love the first game but the boss battles were crap, especially the Cliff ones. All Cliff encounters are exactly the same, only in different environments. Furthermore, you have to do the same thing 4 times! No different forms, no different patterns, nothing.

I mean that's a nice thought and all but if you are going to get the sequel to this I'm guessing you are going to be one of those fans who managed to do the boss battles in the original.

I don't think this is going to bring in new fans or ones who didn't like the first one in general.

I understand if it was a brand new story with new characters where you get a clean fresh slate to try and bring in everyone again but a straight up sequel...it has it's fans and I bet they managed to get through the first game no problem.

A weird idea for a sequel to have, since players need to beat the bosses of the first game, unless he plans on making the bosses more complicated this time around which I highly doubt. Honestly it's a horrible feature, for a game about the struggle of going around to deliver things, to let you skip fighting which is a part of the struggle.
