Is the Siren in Borderlands 4 Connected to the Pre-Sequel? The Emily Swan Siren Theory

One Borderlands 4 theory states that the new Siren is actually a girl named Emily Swan from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.

I’m hoping they don’t use that comic book as canon because animal powers for a Siren sound so lame. You could have something animal related for a no lab siren character if they wanted.

Hear me out though. Controlling insect swarms O.o I fully agree with controlling animals but controlling nature I feel would be fun if she could control plant life and maybe insect swarms.

You have a character that could do so much whacky s*** without relying on technology yet they want to do the most basic ass power when other characters have done similar things?

Would be a waste of a Sirens power and so far, because they really screwed up lore wise, they backed themselves into a corner by saying that not only can there be only 6 Sirens active at once in the entire Universe but they now recycle their powers. So they are going to have to do something in BL4 to solve this for future games.
