Okay.... now Im impressed. Especially with the improvements to VR mode.

MaximusPrime_168d ago (Edited 168d ago )

Yeah very impressive.

I guess I may have to upgrade both TV and console some point in the future. Sony and Polyphony continue to impress.

mandf168d ago

Max it’s awesome with a oled tv

MaximusPrime_168d ago

I've been looking into OLED. I even received an email from Playstation with their Sony TV recommendations

mandf168d ago (Edited 168d ago )

Max I suggest a lg c4 tv. But Sony and Samsung each have a particular model oled tv which is best for the ps5. I chose the lg because of the gaming mode options and vrr

MaximusPrime_168d ago

Cheers, will check them out

Cacabunga168d ago

Polyphony never did things halfway.. they never underperformed and they are one of the most respectable studios ever

Aloymetal168d ago

And to think that this is a cross gen game, PD always pushing the hardware limits. Amazing.

Bathyj168d ago

I just got the G4. Incredible like all LG Oleds.

I heard but the C4 the colour dims in game mode. Maybe look into that before purchasing.

Storm23167d ago

Coming from a G4 owner, which is incredible, the best bang for the buck OLED is the s90c/s90d. Incredible QD-OLED, great price. s90c is last years model, get it if available. If not, go with the s90d.

I was waiting for the DF analysis because the less tech knowledgeable commentators were all over the place.

Personally I loved the improved FPS smoothness in the VR Pro mode, I just needed clarity on how that was handled.

mandf168d ago (Edited 168d ago )

Gt7 in great is just different. With a wheel is mind blowing the biggest wow in gaming I have had in 45 years of gaming. If you’re a gamer and want a experience unlike no other try it in vr with a wheel

darthv72168d ago

I use the Thrustmaster T150 and it works really well. I got it for PS3 and PS4 and it was also works on PS5. Add in VR and its a real game changer.

mandf168d ago

Gt7 in vr damn autocorrect

Babadook7167d ago (Edited 167d ago )

“If you’re a gamer and want a experience unlike no other try it in vr with a wheel”

Can confirm. It’s always worth the effort for that experience. I’ve got over 300 hours in the VR2 mode (most with the g29 wheel).

GT7 missed opportunity on PC. Imagine if Polyphony Digital brought it over to PC with path tracing, and graphics that would be not possible on consoles. Then there would be amazing mods done by the community, not to mention using reshade to bring up that level of fidelity even more.

darthv72168d ago

It will come to PC sometime next year... I can feel it.

cbuc1125168d ago

Keep begging it still ain't happening

badz149168d ago

playing GT7 in VR on PS5 (even better on the Pro), you would be hard-pressed to find any player even thinking, "this would have been so much better on PC". it's just already THAT GOOD at its current form.

Class_Viceroy168d ago (Edited 168d ago )

Playstation releases fully polished games with full content.

They don’t need to rely on PC for graphics and community mods to provide the best experience.

fsfsxii168d ago

Port begging again, not like you’d buy it, you would just boast about how you can pirate it lol

PRIMORDUS167d ago (Edited 167d ago )

Possibly, my reputation precedes me😂

buffig167d ago

The 0.4% of PC players able to run it, would definitely enjoy it

Gran Turismo 7’s next update includes four cars, launches 15th May

The usual update cycle has been broken, with a mid-month Gran Turismo 7 patch to include a Suzuki, a Honda, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Ferrari.

Aloymetal4d ago

Imagine how insane GT8 is gonna look. PD always pushing the hardware to its limits.

jukins4d ago

Hope they just wait for ps6 so nothing has to be held back.

derek3d ago

💯, love this game in vr, gotg for me so far.

Amplitude3d ago

I really wish they'd do a Gran Turismo Horizon. There's not enough arcade racers these days.
It's pretty much just Forza Horizon.

I want Citta di Aria track. Imagine that. Toughest, tightest track

RaiderNation3d ago (Edited 3d ago )

Been shouting this for a while. I dont care if Polyphony ever adds another car to this game. Give us tracks!!! Especially city tracks that are "alive"! Where's Seattle? Where's Rome? Wheres Hong Kong? Hell they dont even have to be free! Release a track pack for 19.99 with like 4 new locations! I'd happily buy it!

INMATEofARKHAM3d ago

Its crazy to think Forza just added a track that's over 10 mile in lenght this week! The much beloved Fujimi Kaido that hasn't been seen since Forza 4.

repsahj3d ago

PD please include suzuki spresso next time!
