At least on Steam, the game debuted to a 'Mixed' aggregate rating based on over 2000 user reviews and counting. Most negative reviews complain about the game's generally wonky performance issues in multiplayer, some frequent crashing, and the obtuse Call of Duty launcher that makes it a hassle to even get into the shooter.
This is an unusual pairing as Ballerina is coming to Call of Duty.
Call of Duty added in-game ads to the Black Ops 6 loadout screen, but Activision is claiming the gross update was added by mistake.
"oh so sooowy, we wanted to do iiit, but obviously not launch it yet, so its totally not our fault, it was fully functional tho lolzzzz"
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 4 broke the game like every previous update, and it's all for CoD HQ. Isn't that enough to kick it away?
There's always these random new bugs introduced and bugs that have still been there since day one. But do you know what's still been working absolutely fine? The microtransactions baby 😒
Enough is enough. They've been given more than enough money to have a working product. It's the deja vu constantly with this franchise.
Playing the multiplayer now.
No crashes so far, so that’s good. Got an error couple of times but that was after the multiplayer match so I don’t get what was that about. So no impact on my enjoyment.
So far so good. Feels like any other CoD which is not a bad thing. I can see myself picking it up when I get tired of the my single player games.
Need to play campaign tho.
I've been playing since the release and no problem what so ever (on PC). Almost finish the campaign; try a bit of zombie mode and a lot of multiplayer. Not a single crash; the game ran flawlessly, no stutter. Great performance overall. Been testing it on an old GTX TITAN X (MAXWELL) from 2015. Game Pass version works really well (don't know about Steam).
It's very good imo. I haven't played a CoD since MW2019 and I really like this.
I do imagine it will slide off once the Warzone thing kicks off again, which I am not into...a shame as the multiplayer is REALLY nice. It kinda reminds me of the old Call of Duty games (namely BO 1 & 2) which I loved.
