Microsoft recently confirmed that it now has over 20 video game franchises with over $1 billion in sales. The number of franchises reaching the massive billion figure has grown from 13 to 20 in just one year.

I doubt Xbox will survive next gen. Any games not launched into game pass will not sell on Xbox. Ultimately, the only 3rd party games Xbox will get are those that are launched into game pass. If you're okay with that, then great. Expect the next Xbox to sell fewer than 30 million next gen with nearly all of them being game pass subscribers that don't buy games.

I´m not against Sony getting their third party exclusive when done right. Nintendo, Xbox, Sony... they all have exclusive third party deals in place and that´s ok.

Silent Hill 2, FF XVI, Star Wars: Kotor Remake, FF VII Remakes... those games were never announced for Xbox. Sony got those first. They paid for exclusivity but they made the deal before those games announcements.

What I call scum practices from Sony is the way they´ll approach developers that already got their games announced for others platforms like Xbox and PC to try and bribe them in the dead of the night to skip other platforms!

That´s what they did with Stellar Blade! That´s what they´d tried to do with Pearl Abyss!

The rest were bought. Yet Satya boasts as if they're talented to have created all 20 IPs in house.
