Based on what has been revealed so far and the lack of context surrounding it, Death Stranding 2 might be setting players up for an endless road trip.
Death Stranding 2 may flip the script, making Sam the one who needs saving, and Fragile the unexpected heroine who refuses to let him walk alone.
I really hope this does well, but I'm not sure it will sell even half that the original dud with the novelty/mystery of a brand new Kojima IP gone, and the polarising gameplay on top.
