Microsoft Flight Simulator Might Be The Next Xbox Game Coming to PS5

There's a chance the next Xbox game coming to PS5 is actually Microsoft Flight Simulator, though it isn't clear whether the old or new.

The original rumor was Forza but it wasn't "verified" by any sources but just guess work or speculation then Jez clarified it was not Forza but another title. Some commenters suspected earlier this year it was gonna be Flight Sim to make its way over as the next multiplat. Kudos to those who guessed right far in advanced.

I still don't think the whole slate will happen but they're gonna pick and choose certain titles for multiplatform release. South Of Midnight could be one eventually.

Jez I don't read much into doesn't seem to know what he is talking about half the time. I remember last December when rumours where running wild about some Xbox games going to PS5. More specifically Sea of Thieves. When most apparent insiders where confirming this. He said it was not happening and it's just fanboys spreading false info.

Then a few months later after it was confirmed by Microsoft sea of thieves was releasing on playstation. He claimed he heard all games maybe releasing on playstation. Then changed to just a few. So he doesn't seem to come off to actually know anything regarding Xbox games that may or may not go to playstation.

I remember that. He denied very hard back in December. Jen's credibility is very shaky now. He often gets second leaks hardly ever first hand leaks.

Gotta question Jez from this point. In fact Shinobi (of all ppl) got this rumor wrong as well. Just like earlier this year where things got outta hand.

All the leaks are true. Microsoft is planning on publishing all of its games on PlayStation. What we don’t know is when each game is coming to PlayStation. Microsoft can’t flood PlayStation all at once. They’d be competing with themselves.

The achievements were painful on this one. 100hrs flight time, lotsa minutiae. I feel like Forza or Starfield would have more mass appeal.

Flight Simulator makes perfect sense as it has no competition on the PlayStation platform and is of a perpetual nature (as in, MS plans to keep it around and supported for a while). Forza seems like a tough one since MS is trying to avoid the renewal of licenses, and the competition with Gran Turismo is troublesome.

Starfield, on the other hand, is a going to happen sooner or later.
