The upcoming Overture DLC for Lies of P sounds like a game unto itself, not unlike FromSoftware’s recent massive Elden Ring add-on.
So excited for this. Lies of P is in my top 3 souls games and that is including games made by FromSoft

Keep telling myself I’m gonna go back and grab the platinum in Lies of P before the DLC but there are an unreasonable amount of incredible games releasing this year lol
I really enjoyed going for the Lies of P platinum. It felt like less of a grind than most of the FromSoft Soulsbourne games. Highly recommend it.
But yes, too many great games for sure!
I unfortunately accidentally missed the last step for one of the quest lines for the last gold record I need and it was right near the end of the game.. so I will have to do a third playthrough and I’m procrastinating it but hope to do it again before the DLC lol

Played pretty much all the big souls games out there and ”all” from soft titles but didn’t enjoy the demo of lies of P. Does the game get a lot better (mostly environment wise)?

but u better check out some gameplay videos and convince yourself. especially if the demo didnt convince you outright
Publisher NEOWIZ and developer Round8 Studio have released the story trailer for Lies of P downloadable content expansion “Overture,” which is due out this summer.
The Lies of P DLC is targeted for release in Q1 2025, as the dev team's next project has been confirmed to be a survival-horror game.
It is not often when you see a DLC for a game that released over a year ago and won’t drop closer to 2 years after release. I still haven’t played the game. I own it now but I haven’t got to it yet. Soon though
I beat the games several endings now and got the platinum. That last boss for real ending was a mofo. Great game!
this reminds me... I have to get back into this one. Really well made and I like the story.
Well deserved! I honestly feel this is the closest a Souls-like has gotten to emulating a FromSoft game to the point where I feel it was a FromSoft developed game.

I played it and it's awesome, but what does this mean. Do they count the players that started it on GP and played 5 mins in these numbers? Last I checked this game sold 1 mill (October).
I played this on GamePass, 1000G'd it, then bought it on the PS5 and Platinum'd it, all in the space of about a month or so. Was absolutely addicted to it and highly recommened it for any on the fence. Can't wait for either some DLC.
