The latest update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now available!

Disappointing there is still no option to enjoy the game with Japanese voices and English subs.

Maybe the Asian version has it? But buying it again just for that isn’t ideal .

Last time I checked, but it's difficult to find exact information on it, the Japanese release has Japanese voices/dub, but you'd be unable to play it with English subtitles, so it seems the devs/publisher is really going out of its way to deny their fans to play their game with some language-combinations, which seems weird to me in this day and age where we have so many different people of different nationalities living all over the world.

Also, it's 2024, so technically this shouldn't even be an issue in terms of offering all available (existing) dubs and subs to all players, regardless of location.

I'll be in Japan soon, so if I find out that version IS able to be played in Japanese and with English subs, obviously I'll pick it up. Same goes for Ratchet & Clank and some other games I've put off from buying because I'd like the option to play them in Japanese ... (not on my 1st play-through btw, always original language first, but it adds an extra incentive to play and experience these games in a new way on a 2nd or 3rd run.
